If I could give this restaurant less than one star, I would. I ordered food, over the phone, at the Mayfair location. The girl there hung on me twice, after repeating my full order the second time. I understand a language barrier and thought maybe a different voice would help her understand - very much being polite- called a third time with my other family member ordering. The woman was rude and hung up on us a third time.
Deciding to walk in, we drive the the restaurant to just make sure the order was in. It wasn’t, and the young girl (whom my age and really didn’t have to be so unkind) told us what we ordered wasn’t even on the menu. Then proceeded to open the menu... and point out exactly what we asked for: deluxe taco salad... on the menu. That moment had me a bit dumbfounded. I couldn’t tell if this girl was being serious. Still wanting the food ordered and wanting to give the place a chance, we waited.
Only for our order to be wrong. The girl even gave out queso but with no chips - although asking us directly... just so disappointed. Management really needs to either fire this woman or clearly have a talk with her about at least some human decency.
It doesn’t take a lot of work (at your job mind you) to at least be nice.
Never going to any locations of this restaurant after the Mayfair experience. I hope others don’t have to go through that same...
Read moreFound this place on Google maps of course. The uber Driver told us that he eats here frequently and his family absolutely loves it. So things started. Looking good right away. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very friendly and courteous. Like most I love mexican food and was wondering if I should have tacos fajitas or Enchiladas. I went with the el curry enchilada platter. But first of course they brought us chips and salsa. This was probably the only drawback of the entire meal. The chips were a bit scale and the sulsa was very tomatoey not much Onions or Cilantro. I asked for a hotter salsa and they brought the heat. Make sure you request it if you like the heat. We also had some drinky's picture. You will see the standard margarita on the rocks with salt and a strawberry deckery. Both were very tasty. I will admit coming from Miami.I felt the prices were very reasonable. My enchiladas were amazing. Great flavor. My colleague had the chimichanga. Omg! It was longer than a seventy nine lincoln. It was my colleague's birthday so they beat the drum and brought him out of shot.I've not seen this before. It's usually fried ice cream or a cupcake. This was a great twist on the birthday dialogue. After they sang Happy Birthday. They rang to the air shot shot shot. If you're in the area and you go mexicans someplace else you're wasting your...
Read moreI've been here a few times. The food is good, however I visited on Wednesday April 27th at 6 pm. They were not very busy, there were many open tables and plenty of staff floating around. We ordered at 6, ate 2 containers of very stale tortilla chips and 2 small containers of cheese dip. 45 minutes of waiting and the waitress came back over and told us it would be another 15 to 20 minutes before our food would possibly arrive. I then told her we just wanted the check so we could leave, and they charged us 16 dollars for 2 peptides, a water, and 2 small bowls of cheese dip. We didn't show our butts, it wasn't our waitress fault, we still tipped, but I think it's unreasonable we were not partially comped for our "food" seeing as we waited after being told it would be "right out" multiple times. I basically paid 20 bucks to sit at a table and eat stale chips and then get to go somewhere else. Absolutely unacceptable, the manager should have been checking in and should have spoke to us. Also the people who showed up after us and sat near us got their food before we left. Insult to injury. Someone should have told us there was going to be that long of a wait, so we could have made the decision if we wanted to stay or go, and not kept telling us "itll be out soon". Will not be coming back to...
