I stopped here on my way home the other night on my way home. At the drive thru, I got behind a pretty long line of cars around 935-940 pm. I knew it would be a bit of a wait but that was fine. As I got closer to the menu, I noticed cones were blocking the area where customers place orders because the equipment was broken. Orders were not being placed until the vehicle reached the first window, slowing the process. The order of the car in front of me was taken at the window at 10 pm. I pulled up to the window and the cashier walked away without acknowledging my presence. I sat there for a minute or two while the cashier and another employee talked to each other and looked confused as to why I was still sitting at the window. The manager approached them, spoke to them and then walked toward the window. She opened the window to tell me that they were now closed. I explained that I had been in the line for 20 min already. She said that if she took everyoneās order passed closing, they would be there all night. (There were two cars behind me)
I understand that there has to be a cut off. I do respect peopleās time but I appreciate the same courtesy. This was poor business and honestly down right rude. If they donāt intend on taking the orders of those who have waited patiently, despite the broken equipment and slow service, then they could at least let customers know before they reach the window only to be ignored by employees and ultimately turned away by management.
Will not be returning to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give negative stars I would. I have worked in the restaurant industry my entire life. So, I get it. The situation is, my friend and I had just got off work and tried to hurry and get there. We were in line by 9:37 pm. There were already 5 other cars in total in both lanes. Y'all let us just sit there. Took maybe 2 people's orders. When it was finally our turn, we pulled up to the menu. The lady asked us to hold on a second. So we waited, some more. The worker even clarified again, "just another minute" Next thing we know the menu boards shut off!!!! Just straight like that. They didn't even have the decency to say maybe "hey I apologize but we're no longer taking orders" We seriously sat in line for almost 30 minutes. Just to have the menu shut off on us. So us and the other 5 or 6 cars are hot. One guy waiting in line was there for a pick up order. He was already there when my and my friend came. Totally unprofessional. I work in a restaurant right now and if you are already in line waiting- For 20 minutes now, your order should be taken. I understand there is a cut off point, but dang. That was just extremely rude. Unprofessional. The manager needs to be addressed. That entire situation was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhere do I begin? Well, I guess I'll start with the order. It was pretty basic. I ordered two big kings minus the "king" sauce. We waited our turn in the drive thru, purchased the grub, and received our food in regular fashion. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Then I get the idea to check the burgers. They're filled with "king" sauce. It was literally spilling out of the wrapper.
My mother parks the car and I head in. I briefly explain the order to the cashier, and she can definitely see the problem. I can see she is a nice person. I inform her that my mother is waiting in the heat outside, she offers to see if there is anything else she can provide me with. Her superior states that only what was messed up needs fixing. Nothing extra leaves the store. I ask him why. He states that is the policy. He then attempts to explain capitalism to me. I explained my mother's situation and implored him to show some compassion. The least he could do is not condescend to me, when he's the one who messed up the order. I found his response lacking heart and understanding of customer service. The entire time I waited he stared me down and never cracked a smile.
