Excellent service, never a dissappointment. My favorite dish so far is the cashew chicken. I would also recommend the Lanna Curry Ramen. The chicken was delicious. My least favorite one was the Khao-Soi (Forgive me if I spelled that wrong). I just didn’t like the coconut taste in the curry. I love their sticky rice with coconut ice cream. It reminds me of arroz con leche.
The salmon and cream cheese rangoons are amazing especially with that sweet sauce. 06/01/21 They've changed the pork belly sliders. It was quite good but I think they could've not put that much brown sauce on it. We finally tried their sushi, and it's so good. I tried the hurricane which was super good. It had salmon on top. Inside, it had cream cheese and I believe crab meat. 10/03/21 Tried the chicken satay. The chicken was good but I didn't like the peanut butter sauce (the spices were a bit strong for me). The coconut ice cream with sticky rice is always a great choice for dessert. Staff always pleasant as well! 03/06/21 Another great dining experience. I see that they held back on the brown sauce on the pork belly sliders. They were perfect! I tried the neua ka tar which is marinated beef with veggies. It was so delicious. Staff so friendly, love supporting them. See you again! 5/23/22 I tried their teriyaki salmon. It was so delicious. Their homemade teriyaki sauce is chef's kiss. 09/25/22 Steamed dumplings are great, and it pairs great with soy sauce or with the sauce it comes with. I did like the Scary Jerry roll. It tasted fresh and light.
11/22 Tantanmen: A new addition to the Varee menu. I was not prepared on the heat! I was coughing after the first bite but I got used to it. Full of flavor but for my taste buds, I would lower the spiciness a bit. I did not eat the red chili strands; I think it was more of a garnish.
04/23 I love their new addition of the bonchon chicken wings! Korean-inspired, sweet and spicy, and...
Read moreI went here two days ago for a friends birthday and here is what I got with my honest opinion. I started with the appetizers, I got the chicken satay , Tuna Carpaccio , Salmon Rangoon, and the Yellowtail tuna. I liked the chicken satay the best following is the Yellowtail tuna, then Salmon Rangoon and lastly Tuna carpaccio. The Chicken satay came with a sweet sauce and a peanut sauce, it was very good , the only thing I would change is more salt. The Yellowtail tuna was also good, it came with jalapeño peppers and soy sauce. The fish was high quality and the only thing I would change about this is the plating, it was just sitting on a bowl of ice, I feel like it could have had a better plating. Not a lot to say about the salmon rangoon's, they were simple and good. Lastly the worst in my opinion was the Tuna carpaccio, once again the fish quality was good, its the fact that it was just plated on top of a cut up onion? If it was a mixture of onion and some other veggie then it wouldn't have been as bad, I recommend maybe pickling the onions and adding daikon radish. For my main dish I had the spicy duck ramen, the duck itself was good and at first is was all good, slowly as I continued eating it the actual sauce the noodles were sitting in started overpowering the other flavors, I would just recommend changing the flavor of that base sauce to something more savory rather than sweet, the duck was very good though. For desert I had a blueberry pastry, it was good. Overall it was a good night with good food, I highly...

I hate to do this because I've reviewed this place several other times and only given it five stars, but I was disappointed yesterday. Not only was the service mediocre, for the first time, but so was the food. To start we weren't greeted when we entered or exited, it was simply "3" and then sat and nothing when we left. We ordered spring rolls appetizers, Boston rolls, the duck ramen, and spicy fire noodles (don't remember the name). I was dealing with sinus issues and specifically wanted a nice ramen to help clear my chest and nose.
My duck ramen came with no broth, although it came with a spoon for broth. There was NO broth only seasoned noodles. I explained that the dish normally has broth and questioned why it would be served with a spoon in an actual ramen bowl if doesn't have broth. Otherwise, it would just be served on a plate. The waitress who hasn't been working there as long as I've been going there told me that's how it's always served. She offered to *add more broth. She brought it back it was a spoonful of broth, LITERALLY a spoonful.
The noodles also weren't cooked thoroughly. I ate a few pieces of the duck and let the entire dish sit there. My son complained that his noodles were chewy as well. But, no one even asked how our food was so. 👎🏾
An $80 meal that we didn't enjoy.
I will go back to Varee because I've had nothing but great experiences, but I needed to share this just in case others have noticed...
