Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Wilson

I have been coming here very consistently since they have opened and I always order the same exact 2 items, at one point I was going every single day for weeks on end and the coffee was always wonderful as well as the people. Lately that has completely changed…one day this past month I spent 20 min in line waiting for a coffee, got my coffee and when I went to drink it, it had a sour taste and absolutely not sugar or sweetener or flavor and it was a large coffee I paid $6.14 cents for which I always pay for a large. I called to ask about it and they said they were training new people and just “sorry” for that..there’s almost $7 I just wasted…and then today I go back and get a medium instead of a large and what’s the price? $6.14…so I told them I ordered a medium coffee not a large this time and they responded with “oh yeah our prices went up” that wasn’t listed anywhere for me to see that I noticed and now I suspect a large coffee is almost $8?! No thank you. I might as well go to Starbucks at that point…I’ve spent well over $800 in coffee at that place since they opened with how much I went previously. Coffee should not be that expensive especially when it’s not even going to be made right or replaced when it isn’t made correctly. This place was a good place but I feel like it’s going downhill lately. Employees are still always polite though I will say that. EDITED: I still frequent this coffee location when I want a treat for myself and again the staff is the best part of this place they are always so nice and friendly. There's no atmosphere to do a review on so that's why that got one starts not like we can go in there but I'm upset that the pumpkin muffins are not coming back which was my favorite and main reason for going to scooters I did go get the peanut butter blender smoothie or whatever it is and this time it tasted more like burnt coffee I didn't get any peanut butter in it and it seems like lately they've been slacking on how much they give you of something and filling it with more ice even when I ask to make sure there was plenty of what cream I was charged extra for it when on the picture it clearly shows the amount that I actually received so I just wanted to make sure I received more than I did in the past but it wasn't expecting an upcharge customer service is very friendly and patient though I will give it to them I do love the customer service there but unfortunately the drinks have gone down scale for me and I do hope management sees this and bring back those...
