So I’ve lived in Wimberley going on 17 years and I’ve seen all manner of restaurants come and go. There’s many controversy in town about who’s bbq is better and quite frankly I like them both however I chose to eat at Wimberley bbq with my wife and the food was phenomenal. The ribs were falling off the bone and so tender. I had the Bobcat sandwich with has sliced brisket and turkey both were cooked to perfection. The brisket tacos were amazing, and my wife enjoyed topping them with the braised cabbage. The loaded mashed potatoes are a must have side topped with butter, cheese, and sausage. We visited this place on a Saturday for lunch as it was a convenient halfway meeting spot for us and our grandkids. We chose it because of its great reviews and the swing set out back, which kept the kids entertained while we waited for our food.
