Founder’s Club — Restaurant in Winchester

I don't know what is wrong with this place but they would not serve my friend and me. I had had one drink at another bar and my friend had had a few, but they wouldn't serve him because the bartender from putters contacted the bartender at the Founders Club, and so he was cut off before he even walked into the building. Now I understand if they have their reasons, however they never offered to serve me anything and didn't even come up up to us for like 10 minutes. I was already playing in the machine, which I put probably $40 in, but they refused to serve us. I never caused the slightest seen. I was nothing but friendly, but she didn't even acknowledge that I was there. I can understand that my friend has probably misbehaved and gotten drunk there before, but I did nothing wrong and I shouldn't be treated like a invisible person. This bar is dark it's kind of dirty and not in the best neighborhood so I would not recommend it especially if the people that work there usually treat...

Formally closed due to a fire they have opened and the place is nice. Spacious and clean with none of the grit you would find at another watering whole. Tons of TV's to check out the game, bright interior and a good vibe. The music from the jukebox was on point.

This place is a little pricey compared but you get a better feel to the environment. You also don't get a chain smoking crowed or at least better ventilation. A Mid-ranged whisky will run you $8 a glass with short pours. Same pour is about $5.50 average and some of the driver places getting it from the bottle to your mouth for $4.00 but that comes with steep price on the ambiance of the environment. Very much a locals bar so be ready for a little neglect but they will get too you and it will be just fine.

All in all a good chill place for drinks...

Went with a few friends around 10 pm on a Saturday night. Requested Jack and Coke, received Jack and Pepsi ( not a true mixer) most bartenders tell you in advance. We left and came back later that evening to see more patrons. We ordered Jack Daniel's as a shot this time with ice. Now the drinks were basically $2 more. When asking the bar "manager" she didn't have any real answer and just said consider the first drinks a discount. She never explained why the difference in charges of drinks. She's probably new at her position and doesn't know how to properly answer...
