What a gem! Online reviews helped us find this charming spot during a recent trip to Winchester. If you're within a 50 mile radius and craving pizza, GO HERE! This is now one of my top favorite pizza spots in Virginia! This includes good ol' RVA. You know when a place is 3+ hours from home and is added to the top of a destination list, it's good stuff. We went on a Saturday night, about an hour before closing. I never like going to a business near closing because I know staff is ready to get out of there and if it's slow, they can start cleaning and breaking things down a bit early. Because of this, we planned to get everything to-go and roll back out to the hotel. The staff was extremely hospitable - very warm and friendly, and encouraged us to stay and grab a table. They have beer on tap and quite a few wines available, so we grabbed a couple of drinks while we waited on our food. One of the owners came out and chatted with us. He was laid-back, funny and very welcoming. The customer service and super cute, fun atmosphere already had us feeling warm & fuzzy. Then the food came. Total show stopper!! Not only were the pizzas and breadsticks aesthetically pleasing, but everything was over-the-top delicious!!! There's a huge difference when ingredients are fresh ... and they do it RIGHT. The cheese is mmm-mmm good and the crust is so delish that we didn't even need a dipping sauce to eat it all. (that says a lot for me) I feel some future weekend trips being planned around a visit to Pizzoco!

First time visiting the restaurant, and everything was outstanding! The menu offers great pizza options with a few other bites, salads, and a selection of beers, wine, and sodas. We decided to try the White Oak Pizza after a lot of going back and forth (since all their options sound amazing) and paired it with a Caesar salad. I can certainly see why they've gained the great reputability that they have! Food came out promptly and with perfect presentation. The salad was fresh and a good portion. The pizza was absolutely amazing! The white sauce is by far one of the best I've ever tried, and the combination of fresh basil and sundried tomatoes with that balsamic drizzle was a match made in heaven. One of my favorite parts was the hand tossed crust, which was thinner and not so doughy. Ownership was present and they were very kind, as was the staff, who patiently explained and recommended many options. The place was clean and has indoor and outdoor dining. Smaller parking lot, but street parking is very close and plentiful. Make sure to check them out when visiting Winchester, this will quickly become one of your favorite spots!

First time here today. We got the bee sting pizza. It was ok. Not sure what all the hype is, it's decent. What we didn't like, 35 minutes for our pizza. We came in, there was one table that had already been sat that was in front of us. We placed our order we sat. 3 other tables come in behind us. One of them got their pizza before us and we still had to wait 10 minutes. What I don't understand is asking for a tip when you pay when pretty much the only thing they do is bring out the pizza to you. You get your own plates, silver and napkins. This tipping is getting out of hand for restaurants that literally do nothing that justifies a tip. $35 for a pizza, 1 soda, 1 beer. ĀÆ\_(惄)_/ĀÆ.. Not really worry it to me.

Full Disclosure: this was a delivery order - on a Friday night - during dinner time - which could have affected our experience. [Dist to Pizzoco - 11 min]

This was my 1st order using the ā€œSliceā€ app, an app claiming to help support the little pizza guys. I want to support small business, but also find the best pizza in my town. The chains have been our Friday night standard for eons, not the best - but we know what to expect … ā€œreliableā€ is sometimes … well … RELIABLE! Everyone knows what’ll be on their plate & how it’ll taste … no one complains.

But - no more! We had an AMAZING pizza last week on vacation, from a no-name, motel-based, hole-in-the-wall pizza joint and I’m now on a hunt to find that kinda pizza in Winchester.

I’ve had my eye on Pizzoco since they opened years ago. I heard fantastic things from a couple friends who frequented in the early months, it just always seemed so ā€œinconvenientā€ for us. As soon as I saw them in the app, I knew they were my pick!

The pizza was cold. Not ā€œnot hotā€, not ā€œluke warmā€, not even air temp. The pizza was cold - like the air conditioning had been blowing on it with the box opened while sitting on cooled seats. Now, of course I don’t think that actually occurred - but that’s slightly warmer than the pizza actually was.

My husband glared at me. While his words said, ā€œFeel how cold this is!!!ā€, his eyes conveyed a mixture of ā€œCouldn’t you have just ordered Papa John’s?? šŸ˜©ā€ and ā€œI wish I knew how to order my own pizza.ā€

Along with most of the crust, the center of the pizza has a large burst/burnt bubble on it. It looks dry and crispy, and taste confirmed. We heated it up for a few minutes in the oven, while more palatable, it didn’t do much for the taste. While the delivery could have played a role, the pizza was over cooked before it left Pizzoco, temperature is the only thing that made it worse.

Unfortunately, as excited as we were to finally try Pizzoco, it is not the hidden gem we...

The staff here are stellar. They went above and beyond expectations. We had an online order that accidentally double posted. They immediately called me, and they fixed it.

More than that, they use a third-party delivery service to deliver. When that third-party delivery service did not show up in a reasonable amount of time, they sent an employee, whose job is not delivery, to deliver my order because they cared about fulfilling their orders and their reputation. Outstanding!!!! I can't remember the last time that I was so impressed with customer service. They didn't allow the convient and understandable excuse to be a larger issue.

Frankly, I would have accepted the excuse that the delivery company did not show up; that's how common and mundane it is. I would have understood and not really complained and chalked it up to fate that I was not getting excellent pizza, which it was. They did not accept it, and I have to applaud this place. For as long as they maintain a large fraction of this commitment to excellence and service, I will definitely be a repeat customer!

I quite enjoyed my order as well. The hot honey sticks were hotter, which is good, than I expected. They were actually spicy! As a lover of spicy foods, it was a pleasant surprise to get something that actually hits the spicy scale for me. My pizza which has a balsamic glaze on it, I forget their for it, was excellent! It definitely fit the bill for what I was looking for, being a pizza that isn't just the same pizza most places have in the local area. They have good vegetarian options which was important for my GF.

I can't say this enough, excellent! The staff and managers and owners please know that you did good work with my order! You made my day better, and you overall contributed more good things being out there in a world where we need more people doing the right and good things simply because it is the right...

I can confidently say that Pizzaco is hands down the best pizza place I have ever been to. Located in Winchester, VA, this gem of a restaurant has got it all. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that is sure to put you at ease. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure that you have everything you need to enjoy your meal to the fullest.

Now, let's talk about the pizza. Oh my goodness, where do I even begin? The flavor is out of this world. Every bite is bursting with deliciousness that will leave your taste buds begging for more. The sauce is perfectly seasoned, and the cheese is always melted to perfection. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients they use in every bite.

But it's not just the pizza that's amazing. Pizzaco also has fantastic prices that won't break the bank. And with its convenient location, it's the perfect spot for a quick and delicious meal. However, what really sets Pizzaco apart is its outdoor seating area. It's the perfect place to enjoy a slice of pizza on a sunny day or a breezy evening. The ambiance is lovely, and it's a great place to hang out with friends or family.

And let's not forget about the speed! They are incredibly fast, so you never have to wait long for your pizza to arrive.

All in all, I cannot recommend Pizzaco enough. If I could give it 10 out of 5 stars, I absolutely would. The flavor, sauce, staff attitude, price, location, speed, and outdoor seating area are all top-notch. If you haven't tried Pizzaco yet, you are seriously...
