PK Oyster Bar — Restaurant in Winchester

A small but quaint restaurant that serves up some amazing food. If you are familiar with the legendary Oyster Bar at Palace Station Casino, then be amazed as the one of the Chefs from there has now ventured to open his own restaurant, same great food, BUT no 2 HR wait time! (trust me, this is a BIG deal)

For the uninitiated - like Oyster Bar at the palace station, this restaurant serves up Creole style food, which includes main stays like Pan Roasts, Gumbo, Jambalaya, even a few pasta dishes. They specialize in Seafood Creole food, their Oysters are fresh and have dishes that incorporate Crab, Lobster, Shrimp, and Fish, other ingredients include Chicken and Andouille Sausage.

My personal favorite that I highly recommend is the classic Seafood Pan Roasts (can never go wrong), also a NEW addition the Chef added to his menu which I personally thought to be the best - COCONUT SHRIMP, it's shown as an appetizer, BUT I personally think it should be a main entrée, not to be mistaken with Chinese food fried shrimp style recipes, this is a Sauté with Shrimp and a light finishing coconut after taste served on white rice. Truly amazing creation, you won't find that anywhere in Vegas, it's the Chefs own Recipe.

Service wise, they were so attentive and polite, every waiter assisted us and were all very kind. My wife even ordered a dish that was too spicy for her and couldn't eat it so she ordered another, different dish, the servers were so kind and generous to not charge us for our mistake, even though I told them, it's okay and that I would be taking it home to eat it myself since I do like spicy food, but they insisted EVEN though I was going to take it home.

That is really kind and generous, they just wanted our experience to be well and it was, my wife loved the place and her next...

PK Oyster Bar - it’s more than just oysters!!!!

Atmosphere - when we entered - we felt comfortable. Hostess/Waitress greeted us immediately and sat us at our table. The restaurant smells clean and I was loving the furniture and the entire set-up of the main floor.

Service - waitress & waiter were very attentive and prompt with drinks and meal! Even as we ate, the waitress kept an eye out on all tables to ensure water was filled, if everything was okay and did we need anything. This service continued throughout our entire meal.

Food - I cannot rave enough on how delicious everything that we purchased tasted!!! This was the first time I ate gumbo! I told my husband - they just set the bar! Now I will compare every gumbo dish I eat to this first experience! And because I enjoyed my chicken & sausage gumbo - I’d be very surprised if any other restaurant can compare!

The oysters were clean tasting!!! I have tasted bad oysters, dirty oysters or plain junk oysters! The oysters were succulent, delicious, clean tasting😋 I loved every slurp💕💕💕

Shrimp cocktail - the first thing my husband did was taste the cocktail sauce! Once that met his approval, he knew it was gonna be delicious!

Caesar salad - I love Caesar salad! Their Caesar salad was ON POINT! Romaine crisp the entire meal with just the right amount of Caesar dressing👍🏽

Price - everything was priced just right for the type of foods we ate!

Overall - this will definitely be our stop and place to enjoy a good meal during our annual...

Beyond the oysters, the clam chowder is a creamy, comforting bowl of perfection, and their seafood platters are both generous and artfully presented. The Jambalaya rice was phenomenal! We got the spice level at around 5 out of 10 which was the perfect level of heat and flavor without getting too extreme!

Service at PK Oyster Bar is exceptional. The staff is friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable, eager to guide you through the menu and recommend the perfect pairings. Their passion for what they do truly shines through, making your dining experience all the more enjoyable.
