McDonald's — Restaurant in Wind Gap

This place just gets worse and worse. So many times I've come home from the drivethru missing part of my order I can't even count them. Now, I ALWAYS sit and check everything before I pull away from the window. Today was the worst yet. I placed my order, finally got up to the window and of course I had to pull ahead and wait because my Big Breakfast with hot cakes was not ready. Really, its 9:45 am why isn't this stuff ready? I pulled out my phone played a few games. Thought this is taking really long. Wasn't raining when I pulled ahead, now it is pouring. Set a timer for 8 minutes on my Alexa app and waited again. Nothing. So I backed up to block the drivethru, that will get their attention. The guy that came out looks in my car and says you already have your food. I told him my order, (by this time I was aggravated beyond belief) so I told him loudly, that I wanted a refund or my food. I again pulled forward and set another timer for 3 minutes. That of course went off and I still had no food. Finally the guy comes out, with the big breakfast and asked again what my order was, because it no longer showed on the board. I said of course it wouldn't you've served over 20 cars since I pulled up here. So now I get home and half the stuff is cold, even my latte was cold. Never again am I going to...

Well, it was a great place a few months ago. The service was great and so was the food. Now it's just horrible. The cashiers don't know what they're doing, especially the one guy with long hair. He looks like he always stoned. He always gave us the wrong order and always difficult. Another thing is that the night crew sits in the back and smokes. My fiancee tried going to get food one night and about 8 crew members were sitting outside the back door smoking and none of them tried taking her order and instead just stared her down. Now I have worked nights at a fast food place. My coworkers would take a smoke break but if they're on the drive thru window they still take your order. This is just horrible service.

Yes there are quite a few good employees but the recently it has been utter chaos.

Not to mention they keep all their lights off in and outside of the building. Not only is that a bad way for a business to make money but completely unsafe. Not even the parking lot lights are on.

I don't plan on coming back very soon. It's basically our last resort for food at this point. I'd much rather spend extra at Wendy's for better...

I average 5 orders weekly here. I say maybe once monthly something gets screwed up. For example I receive the wrong pie or wrong hot cafe coffee. I say that is not too bad at all! My daughter says her fries are always fresh and hot at this McDonald’s location. I agree with her. I enjoy using the mobile app to place my order and go through the driver thru to pick it up. I really enjoy the convenience. It fits my busy schedule. The indoor playground was a lot of fun for my girls. The tables in the play place area needed some wiping down and the floor needed sweeping. We saw a ton of ants on the food on the floor. This at first upset my 4 year old but after talking to her about it she was ok. If I had any complaint it would be that. If your staff knows ants are in that area it should be checked hourly. If the food was swept up the ants would not gather. I have not removed a star due to the ants. It’s Summer. The parking lot here is nice to sit and eat outside. There are many garbage cans to use to throw your food bag and wrappers in. This is a nice location with play place. I will continue to patronize...
