We went in on Sunday August 11. First time in, I bought the Chicago dog. It was good I ate the pickle separate as all the filling was enough to handle. My partner ordered the double burger. (Looks like a big mac) I tried a taste and it was by far MUCH better. The hamburger was juicy and the toppings were great. The fresh cut fries were delicious. I love the topping choices they have available. White vinegar was my choice. The owner came over introduced himself and was very pleasant! We sat indoors and it was clean, cool & very comfortable. The food came fast and was enjoyed. Another family came in with 2 little girls. The owner has a book shelf with toys to amuse them. They were happy! Nice to see a good burger/hot dog shop open in Windham. They are next door to the Windham Post Office in the strip mall. We'll definitely be back lots of choices and they sound amazing! Thank you Cormier Dog House for a family run reasonably priced option in town.. I didnt take a picture but, I assure you...
Read moreFor burger joints in the windham area, this HAS to be my favorite! Awesome dining area, i took my food to go but was a nice and cool wait indoors.
As for the food, delicious! My only complaint would be the wrapping the burger was in. It leaked pretty easily especially with all the moisture from the lettuce. I got The Big Hurt burger and oh boy that was delicious. Wasn’t really that greasy either and the bun was so good and I’m glad it wasn’t soiled in grease. And for the fries YUM honestly as burger joints go in Windham, I wanna say these are my absolute favorite. I got mine with a side of chili.
For the main course I got one of the Chili Dogs and they definitely do not disappoint. My own thought for next time tho would be getting it with a red snapper instead of a beef dog cause of the Mainer in me.
I highly recommend this burger joint for burger lovers will definitely be coming...
Read moreThis is a total gem, cannot say how glad Cormier’s came to Windham. Best hot dog in the whole state, I’d say. I had the Chicago dog. Definitely evident that the owner attended Hot Dog University (I believe by Vienna Beef?) in Chicago. I’m a huge fan, the dog was juicy, perfectly cooked, amazing fresh bun and condiments. The rest of the menu looks great too, for those who don’t want a hot dog. But seriously, anyone who has been to Wrigley Field lately knows that what Cormier’s Dog House is cooking up is 10x better. Just plain great food. Also, I read a story in the Portland Press Herald on Fathers Day about the amazing family behind this business. Will be a regular at Cormier’s that’s for sure. Quality...
