On 1-21-25 at approximately 1150 hours, my wife and I went through the driver-thru at the Windsor, Colorado Burger King, located on Main St (Hwy 392). The person at the mic order spot had an angry tone to her voice when I asked for a minute to pick what we wanted to eat. There was one car ahead of us and one car in the parking lot. So, it's not even close to being busy. I placed our order asking to change the type of bread on my sandwich, take the tomato off of my wife's order, and add cheese to hers. This did not seem like a life altering event, even though by the woman's tone of voice, you'd have thought the world was at its end. By the woman's voice, you could hear she was angry and very stressed. I've worked in restaurants before, so I completely understand, although in fast food, you should have a better handle on your customer service skills. The drinks were not what we ordered, and I looked at the ticket seeing none of the changes we asked for. The woman was in her mid-50s, extremely overweight, gray and black hair, seemed to struggle even getting to the window, and visibly angry and snappy when I said thank you. In her rush to get done whatever she was struggling to do, she spilled a drink she was working on, which I'm certain added to her frustration. I decided to drive around before I got our food as we'd already been waiting for several minutes and had already drank most of one of the drinks that was correct. I went inside, bringing the food and the wrong drinks with. She came to the counter as I put the drinks on the counter. I politely stated we had received the wrong drinks and was wondering if I could exchange them. She looked at them and stated, in a quick to answer defensive angry voice, the one marked coke was just marked wrong, and the other she could not take back. She slammed another cup on the counter and then did not even listen when I tried to ask about my wife's burger and walked away. I looked around the diniroom and noticed only 2 people, one of which was at the counter trying to fix her order. A kinder man came and asked if there was anything else, I explained my wife's burger was wrong on the ticket, he stated the board overhead confirmed that Noone had put that information in because the ticket matched his board of order information. Least to say, the woman could have cared less what our order was and gave us what was faster and easier for her. The man was helpful and kind, everything a person working in customer service should be. The woman, on the other hand, was not good at her job, seemed to hate anyone who changed their order, and had no people skills. We only live a few minutes from there, we got home and everything other than the burger made by the young man who helped me at the counter was cold and not great to eat. We had to put the fries in our air fryer so they had some heat to them. We were very disappointed and will not be using the driver-thru again. This is not the first time the drive-thru has let us down. We will go in and hopefully get that young man to serve us because if she's there, we'll just walk out and go to Wendy's across the street. Have a blessed day, and we will pray for that woman. Hopefully, the demons inside her leave her, and she'll be a bit...
Read moreâ Review of Burger King
Hi, I normally donât leave reviews unless Iâve had a really bad experience. Everyone makes mistakes â itâs just a burger after all â and I usually let things go. But this has happened multiple times now, and itâs more about the lack of customer service than the food itself.
Several times my orders have been wrong, and I didnât even bother saying anything. But one morning I finally called back after they gave me the wrong breakfast sandwich. When I politely explained what happened, the young woman who answered basically told me I was wrong, that I ordered the wrong sandwich â which wasnât true. I let it go at the time, even though I found her very rude and dismissive.
Another day I t happened again, so I called back again after ordering a number five (the two cheeseburgers, no mustard, no pickle). They gave me just one sandwich â and when I called, the same young woman told me again I ordered the wrong thing. She made me feel like I was the one at fault, she even refused to acknowledge that the young man who took my order put in the wrong meal.
Then today was the last straw. I ordered a meal with a side of onion rings, but they gave me fries. When I mentioned it at the window, the woman told me I must not have said onion rings, or she didnât hear me, and said ânext time make sure you say onion rings.â I was asked to pull around to wait for them. After a while, I went inside to check, and sure enough, the same young woman came to the counter and once again implied it was my fault â saying ânext time make sure you say you want onion rings, because weâre busy.â
On top of that, even though I ordered no mustard and no pickle because of an allergy, my sandwich still had both. By the time I got home, I just threw it away rather than call back because I didnât want to deal with her attitude again.
She is consistently rude, immature, and unprofessional, with absolutely no sense of accountability or customer service. She always has a chip on her shoulder, and Iâm sick and tired of it. I donât know her name, but sheâs young, has long brown hair, and works the counter/phone often.
I will not be returning to this Burger King again. People make mistakes â and I get that â but to repeatedly blame the customer and speak to them so rudely is completely unacceptable. Management needs to take note of how sheâs treating customers, because it reflects poorly...
Read moreI was excited to see another fast food choice come to Windsor. I'll preface this post by saying that Burger King is pretty low on my list of preferred fast food restaurants. We were in a hurry and figured we'd give the new Windsor location a try. Ordering was quick and painless. Ordered two cheeseburgers and two Whopper Jr.'s with cheese. After what seemed like a ridiculously long wait for the car in front of us to get served, We got to the window and the gal read my order back. "You got the two cheeseburgers and two Whopper Jr's?", she said. I replied, "No, two cheeseburgers, one Whopper Jr with cheese." She mumbled something to herself and handed me the bag. I should have know to check the bag before heading home. We got home to find out we were served two cheeseburgers and two Whopper Jr's with no cheese. I was charged for 4 sandwiches and ordered 3 (although did receive 4 sandwiches). Not the biggest deal in the world. The food was edible but exactly how I remembered BK tasting, nothing special. I'll likely give the Windsor BK another chance but it is pretty much just like every other fast food place in town. The managers of these places just can't seem to run...
