when i want something not on the menu, i pick the closest thing and ask for additions and or subtractions. this seems logical to me. apparently not. "a carne asada burrito, no guacamole, add cheese" is not an acceptable order. after a 2 minute lecture, in a thickly accented high speed barrage that drained me of all my remaining spoons by the halfway point, it seems that "a super burrito, no rice, no beans, no lettuce, no sour cream, no guacamole, add cheese" is the correct way to order the EXACT same thing. all the burritos being the same price of course ($9.99), EXCEPT the super burrito, which is a dollar more... i opted not to bow to the ridiculous nature she was displaying. if she had just said "cheese is a dollar more" (it shouldn't be, there are other $9.99 burritos with cheese) i might have even gone for it. plus they toasted the tortilla a bit too much for my taste. they should be warm, not crunchy...
Read morePreviously I had rated this quaint little Mexican fast food place only four stars but after falling in love with literally everything I have happily consumed there, and always receiving prompt and friendly service I had to revisit my previous review for an edit. This is a small mom and pops feeling place that never has disappointed me in any way shape or form! The food is absolutely amazing every time! (smothered burritos give me happy dreams at night) The place is kept clean and orderly and their salsa bar is a good reason to skip the drive-thru and take a walk inside to supply your delicious entree with all the proper fixings! I have had Mexican style fast food all over Northern Nevada and would rate this place #1 in my book. Great job Rolbertos! And thank you for filling my dreams and my belly with complete...
Read moreEven tho I didn't get exactly what I expected to get at a typical taqueria, I was impressed. I ordered the super burrito that comes with a "free" drink that I don't want. It was super big, and super good. I wanted grilled chicken, but she told me it comes with carne asada only, I normally don't get carne asada because most places add way too much salt, but I took a chance. To my surprise, it was perfect for me. I think they may have just forgotten to salt it. The 3 salsas they had out were good, but I was disappointed not no see any pico de gallo out, or in my burrito, that is supposed to have everything. Seems like they raised there menu prices by 20% recently. The supper burrito came out to $10.15, which is on the high end. But maybe that's just the new Norm after covid and all the...
