This place is the worst! My flooring started to come up three years after it had newly been replaced, (by Carpet One), & one problem turned into another, & I had to replace almost everything.. after contacting them in March, it was finally finished in October, literally seven months in the making, just to realize that the backsplash on my sink had a significant crack that was obviously super glued back together, & placed on the back of my sink anyway, without my knowledge, & thousands of dollars paid for this, hands down THIS IS A DISSERVICE When I let the manager (Pam) know about the crack she said she would get back to me, it’s been a month, & I have not heard back from her. On August 16th, after we had paid for our kitchen to be remodeled, no sooner did we leave, & Pam called me right back & said we had overpaid by $20.00, but they would definitely reimburse us for that, & we are still waiting for that. In the beginning we also paid for grout, but since we needed more done to our kitchen, we had to go in a different direction with our flooring, but we were not reimbursed, & we did not get to keep the grout either. THIS IS SO DISHONEST The communication with this place is absolutely ridiculous!! It takes (Pam) two weeks to get back to you about anything.. whether it’s questions you have, or wanting updates on where they stand with what’s happening. Etc This is just a drop in the bucket with the problems we have run into with them, & even with new owners, nothing is better, it has only gotten worse! & Pam should not be managing the store, she has no idea what she is doing! To be treated this way is disheartening!!! Luckily enough they are not the only place here that...

First of all, Pam did a wonderful job with us communicating each step of the way what was to happen. She was very helpful and patient as we went back and forth on which carpet we wanted. Also. I appreciated the fact that she called several times leading up the appointment asking if our original dates were okay, or if we would like anything sooner. We appreciate the time she took to communicate with us, period.

Chad was our installer. He is by far one of the most professional, respectful, kind, and high quality carpet installer we have ever had. His easy going and confident personality built trust within minutes of meeting him. We even had left him alone in our house for many hours on end and didn't even have a worry that something could go wrong. His skills are Master level and in particular we enjoyed that there were NO Visible seams where he joined two pieces. You can tell he cares about the quality of his work. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Overall, I would recommend this company to do our carpet again should the need ever arise. Thank you very much Pam and Chad for taking such good care...

I worked with Ashley at Desert Design Winnemucca and she was terrific. I am not very good at color and design work and she helped me sort through different options and the one that we landed on together is absolutely beautiful and perfect for my home! She took into consideration my budget, something that would work for my pets, color and design. I am so thankful for her design ability, and support. She helped me pick the perfect flooring! She kept me updated on product ordering and installation timing, was available by phone and when I had to leave a message she got back to me the same day or next morning. The communication was great. My installer Shane was a pleasure to have in the house, he was knowledgeable, skilled and efficient. The guy NEVER stopped working. He cleaned up after himself, was conscientious about my pets and closing doors and gates. I recommend Ashley and Shane from Desert Design and Carpet One for any project! I will be going back to them for my counter...
