Not worth the money. I was in Nevada alone with my two young boys and our service dog. We choose this hotel for the night because of the indoor pool and paid quite a lot for the room. $187.48 for two queen beds!! We ended up not getting to go to the pool because the service dog wasn't allowed in the pool room or allowed left in the room. If I had known that before hand we would not have chosen this hotel! It was nice and clean, but the carpet was worn around the edges and the bathroom could have been cleaned better. The view was the best we had while in Nevada, but we didn't do a great job of choosing hotels on the edge of town either. The staff was pleasant but seemed annoyed by the extra work we required - i.e.: checking in with the service dog, our pool questions and I needed two dollars in change the next morning because the vending machine wouldn't take my dollar bills and I NEEDED a soda! The breakfast was great with lots of choices that where easy to grab and take back to the room to warm up. My son is autistic and LOVED the mirrored sliding glass doors on the closet. Overall a good stay, just not for the price in my opinion!

Heading home from vacation we were excited to find a Best Western Plus until we got there. The room smelled and was dirty and the halls were just as bad and when I showered at 8am there was no hot water :( The lobby and breakfast was nice and guest service was pleasant. I did ask of our room was a pet room because of the state of it and was told no but there was definitely feces on the wall of the restroom and a unidentifiable substance on the mattress that we discovered when we accidentally pulled the sheets back. We love the consistency and cleanliness of Best Western PLUS because you always know what you’re getting and this did not even come close to that standard. We only stayed the one night as we’re just passing through our reservation was under Marshall Wollman. I’m sorry for everyone involved in this mess hopefully things get better and the facility can hold the same standards of the other BWP we look forward to staying at because this is definitely not one of them and was definitely a unpleasant surprise

I’m traveling cross-country with two dogs, and my first stop was Winnemucca, Nevada. Based on a dog-friendly app, I chose Best Western. They charged $25 per dog, totaling $50, on top of a $149 room fee. Totaling $209 The room felt cheap—there was a huge piece of carpet missing, which didn’t match the price I paid. It reminded me of a run-down motel, and I had to check for bedbugs. The hallway carpets were nicer than the one in my room. When I mentioned the issue, the staff just shrugged it off or said they’d “make a note.” While the check-in lady was friendly, the others I dealt with were not. If you’re traveling with dogs, I’d recommend looking elsewhere for a more accommodating and welcoming stay. Since that experience, I’ve stayed at a more upscale hotel chain for less money, with welcoming rooms and friendly staff. I’ve decided not to return to Best Western. If I were you and I had dogs, I would definitely consider looking elsewhere. There are definitely a few in the area. .

The breakfast was good, the rooms were clean, and that's really where the good stops. The night we checked in the clerk was obviously bothered that we were there, along with the person checking in behind us. This wasn't the only time within our 4 night stay. So much so that when our friend was driving up from Reno I booked her a room at the Candlewood down the road, so that she didn't have to be treated as a bother. To top it off Two days later when I looked at our bank account we had been charged a 200$ cleaning fee for a dog that never went in our room. When I called to speak with the manger about this her response was it was "someone saw a dog in the room and it was obvious." I asked who and when saw a dog in the room and there was no response beside that it was obvious. We had a dog with us and I asked if they were aloud in the room, and was told no. It was fine we had a kennel with us and were prepared for him to stay in the car. Needless to say I am not at all happy with the fact that I have been accused of being a liar, made to feel like a burden and charged a fee that has no proof of being legitimate. Also if anyone wants to know the manager went ahead and let me know that she has 5 dogs that live with her and not anywhere near the hair that she obviously saw in the room.

Dear Gary, In regards to your reply, I still find it hard to believe that there was so much evidence that there was a dog in that room, because there never once was. As I stated before yes we had a dog with us, but this dog stayed in our rig in the kennel we had. I find it funny that so many people knew that area was a NON-pet area since no where was it marked, nor do I feel its appropriate practices to place a charge based on other guests word. I do believe that people may have seen us in the parking lot with the dog because that is where we had him, however never did he even step foot inside the building let alone the room. Not even when he was told to stay laying outside the main entrance when we had to come in to get the card re-keyed. In fact we have some of your other guest that stated it was nice to see him outside the dinning area during dinning hours, when other guests had their pets at the tables. The fact that you seem to be taking other gust word over ours, shows us that you obviously value their business over our returning business and that is fine. As far as the refund I have moved on to other measures, so thank you for at least taking the time to reply under someone else's email, in fact the email address of the same manager I mentioned in the above...

I did not have a great experience at this hotel. First of all I will say the room was nice and spacious. The pool was so far away from the hotel and out door.. it actually seemed as though this pool was being "borrowed" from another hotel. You had to get a key from the front desk and then walk across the parking lot to get to the pool. When we got there the key did not work. SO I had to walk all the way back with two little kids who were dying to swim. There was a bunch of random stuff under our beds and the floors were not clean. I am a Best Western Rewards member and I was trying to use a gift card I earned. I presented the gift card at check in and when I checked out the credit was not applied. which then the room charge had to be credited back to my card and recharged. The person who I presented the gift card to told me that the $20 would come off my current bill which was $119.00 come to find out that was actually my room rate so I ended up paying more than I thought I was. the woman at the counter was really rude to me about this. she could have just explained that I was given the incorrect information (which would not have been surprising since the girl from the night before obviously did not know what she was doing) instead she kept yelling "NO!" at me every time I tried to understand my bill situation. she kept saying "This is a great rate for this hotel" which brings me to my last complaint. The price for this hotel was outrageous. Especially since it does not have a pool of its own. I stayed during the week and still paid over $100.00. I will not...

I was there on a business trip with all the paperwork in order for the stay. Ashley at the front desk had all of the info on her computer screen to charge the overnight stay fee to the appropriate card and then requested my personal card to have on file for any type of room damages. Then after that conversation decided to charge my card for the overnight room charges. After the front desk was informed of their error they said that they would immediately return the money, however they refused to give my family back the funds until after I left. Then when I try to tell the manager what's going on she says that they are following hotel policy stopping my wife from having access to her funds for an inappropriate card charge. They attempted to deflect responsibility for going against the explicit directions given at the front desk by saying that the financial institutions have stopped me from having my funds. They try to make it sound like this is an effort to protect client's financial credit. Then afterwards they call my employer to try and damage me with false allegations and disparaging remarks because I had the audacity to point out that they were the ones holding up my money by making charges to the card that they were told not to charge for anything other than damages. The hotel staff are so inconsiderate! You want to try a hard challenge? Try getting a good night's sleep with these people at your back. I will never go...
