Model T RV and Casino Hotel. In its hey day was a nice place to stay. I cannot speak for the hotel rooms now as we stayed in the RV park. The casino is old, most of the video poker machines at the bar were not in working order. The bartender was running all over and stretched way to thin, but he was nice. We didn't eat at the Cafe. There used to be a fun food court inside but it is long gone. Now to the RV Park. Great location, easy on and off the freeway. The entrance into the RV park from the street is torn up and you need to drive in slowly. Plenty of trucker parking in lot next to casino. Plenty room to maneuver at front of RV Park and plenty of RV spaces available. The surface is older pavement and the RV sites are thin gravel and dirt. Appears if there is a rain things will be muddy, I say this because at our site I could not see the sewer hookup. The maintenance man found it for me by kicking dried deep mud out of the way, using it would have meant cleaning it up to access it. (See photo.) There was 50 amp and frost free water spigot at our site. The sites themselves are very short, our 36ft rig was sticking out quite a ways. The RV Park for the price of $27 for a nite was worth it, but definitely in need of improvements. There was an entire row of older rv's and vans that were being permanently lived in. Staff inside casino at the hotel and rv check in were very nice. They require copy of registration and insurance at checkin, perhaps because of allowing any type and age of vehicle to stay in RV park. We would use this RV park when traveling through again for overnight stop due to...
Read moreMy family and I are passing thru and needed a place to stay for just one night in a RV park. Made a reservation request(?) Thru the avaible online platform at 10 am for later that evening. Never heard back. Called around 3 and spoke to a lady at the hotel front desk that said they have a ton of avaiablity no worries. She was unable to access my request because it was in a different department. |Showed up at 8 pm. The casino has extremely poor ventilation. Even with my mask on -COVID19 I still has choking on cigarette smoke. I get up to the front desk agent who then says all the spots they had plenty of at 3 pm were not avaiable and they dont staff the RV park on the weekends to approve the rover requests. He said he could "squeeze" us into a spot that was 3 feet to small, we had to disconnect and was only a 30 amp. With my family having no other options i paid the $30 for the evening. When i got back in the truck to tell my husband we got a spot he said even he could smell the cigarettes on me. Oh also this place is LOUD AF. Right off main street and close to the highway and the sites are very close to one another. ||If you are looking for a quiet place that you can get some decent sleep and don't have to shower just because you had to check in... RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I wish I would of realized what this place was and made other arrangements before...
Read moreSo upon arriving with reservations the person that runs the park has been out sick. Some man told us we had to go into the casino and register. There were no signs directing people to do so. We went in and found out our reservations were unavailable but we could take any 2 spots we wanted. We parked among several run down permanents and set up. There were a lot of cars coming and going filled with unsavory people all hours of the night. If you're staying over night just make sure to lock up tight. I would not stay here for anything more then a...
