The staff is super nice, however the waitress in the restaurant could have asked me if I wanted an appetizer didn't ask me if I wanted dessert and when another customer came in she offered him a beer cheese soup which she never mentioned to me. I would have happily ordered some. If that was a waitress I would try and rack up the biggest bill I could by offering appetizers drinks soups salads entres, desserts... you name everything! But in this situation, I ordered off the menu and I never got a suggestion for anything else nor was I ever asked how was the food? I guess in this day and age you're lucky to find somebody to wait on you let alone treat you like you are a valued customer. And by the way the T model signature two bone steak, is horribly tough but if you're doing what I did, and just looking for a bone for your dog, you'll get a few bites off it and take the rest to your dog. The rest of the staff is super super nice including my waitress. she's very pleasant. she just didn't ask enough questions to increase the bill to increase Revenue to increase the tip. I used to be a waitress. And it's all in jacking up that bill with all kinds of things that you normally would not have ordered but since they suggested a salad or suggested that appetizer or suggested cheesecake, sometimes you go along with it when you get a bigger Bill, you get a bigger tip. I'm no genius but it seems like a no-brainer. But perhaps nobody understands that...

Stayed last night on ground floor of quality inn @ model t. HARD lumpy, wiggly spring mattresses, very uncomfortable. Pillows flatten completely. They have come in and done some superficial upgrades but they were cheap and sloppy, old mold already cracking through the paint in the bathroom.
Rented 4 nights, got cheap ONE breakfast per person. Went to breakfast - ordered eggs over medium, yolks were completely cooked but whites were raw in the middle, had one okay sausage link and one sausage link that looked and felt like yesterday's burnt left overs - got very little service and what we did get was poor. Then I found a big black kinky hair on my plate!
That was it, done with breakfast, so headed back to the hotel room. Used the restroom and saw a bright red mark on my leg and felt a slice of panic, ran to the bed I slept in and yanked the sheets back to find BLOOD SPOTS on the sheet/mattress pad right on my side of the bed! BED BUGS!!!
We called the office immediately and they took a few coming down so we started packing up. When they got to the room (three people to come check the bed for proof) the lady told us she had a bed bug certification and that they o my bite hands and face which is BS, we are very knowledgeable on the subject! and RED blood spots on the clean sheets is pretty...
Read moreI give this hotel an overall "okay" because... whenever we checked in, the front desk gave us the last room in the entire hotel on the 2nd floor with no elevator at all. 2 things wrong with this situation: What if someone in our party wasn't able to climb the stairs? (Then would they have refunded our money? Doubtful.) And my bag was super heavy, thank goodness the husband carried it up for me -- but what if he wasn't there?
The room itself was okay, no complaints.
The breakfast situation? Now, this sucks! Sure, the front desk gives out coupons for free (1 pp), and breakfast is over at 11am (breakfast till 11 is great, actually!) But when we ordered coffee, and orange juice -- the wait staff made a BIG deal about how many beverage orders we were to have OR they made damm sure we were going to pay for the extra orders of juice. It totally ruined our breakfast, to be quite honest. But! I will say the waitress was nice (and just doing her job, as they say), so I get it. And we still tipped the server, of course. But it was super annoying how we were told of these extra charges repeatedly. But oh well. Back to breakfast... so all you can order is 3 different orders: biscuits and gravy, french toast (literally! That's it!) or meat (bacon or sausage) and eggs. I asked for toast on the side, but again, I was reminded of the cost, so I just gave up and...
