I don't usually write reviews for fast food places, as I have worked at one for 6 years and know how utterly soul crushing and miserable it is to work at a fast food joint, however, I feel this needs to be stressed. This Bojangles is cursed. It's really close to my place, and I love Bojangles, but this Bojangles in particular is run by some of the most incompetent staff on the planet. Again, I'm not grossly impatient nor do I have the highest expectations. If I have to wait 10-15 minutes for my food, and the staff aren't being too jovial, I get it, so long as the food is good and correct, I'm fine with it. These guys just usually always get my order wrong, or don't understand what I'm talking about half the time. I once asked if I could get a cajun filet instead of a regular one and they did not know what I was talking about (In spite of the fact that Cajun is in big bold letters on their menu), and had to bring out the manager who likewise didn't understand my question. I had to try and explain a basic item on their menu to them for about ten minutes. Another time I asked for a Combo, asked if the fries were in there, twice, only to be told, "YesTheyAreI'veWorkedInThisJointForYearsIKnowWhatI'mDoin'Boi" So I walk home only to find out, in spite of my insistence and asking, twice, there were no fries in there. I call them and they tell me that I have to return within a week to get a replacement side. I just wanted my fries now its a lengthy process with a deadline. The restaurant I worked with had a similar system but there was no deadline on it, just simply "Come in with the receipt whenever." I've luckily never had any rusty nails or chopped off fingers in my meals, hence why I'm willing to return to the location every so often. The last time my roommate came in I was told that there was a physical altercation like in that one Waffle House Vine. I'm not that surprised considering their track record. TL;DR, I would highly recommend driving the extra 10 to 15 minutes to another bojangles location than eating at this one. I know it sounds asinine but unless the convenience is that important to you (Or necessary in my case as I don't drive), then it's not worth it to have to describe your order to staff who seem to know less about the menu than you do, wait longer for them to get it wrong, and then eat it in their restaurant which is almost never clean.
Stay away....
Read moreI ordered a 12 piece box with 2 1/2 gallon sweet teas at the drive thru. Got my food the chicken was overcooked and I received 2 unsweetened teas instead of sweet. I continuously called the location from about 7 p.m. until closing and the phone just continued to ring. Woke up the next morning and still continued to ring. No one picked up the phone until the next day at 2 p.m. I finally spoke to a manager by the name of Roger and he was kind enough to take my information ( name, and what I ordered) and stated that he would replace my food. Get back to the location, tell the person at the drive thru I spoke to Roger and she replies I was not aware of that with an attitude like I was lying and told me to pull up. Get to the window, she snatches the receipt and tells me it is going to be 15 minutes on chicken and to pull up to the door. I pull up to the door and notice that other people were getting their boxes of chicken before me after their cars pulled up well after me. I asked the employee how is it that they getting their food before me and he replied "oh that's door dash." More than 15 minutes passed and I was still sitting in the drive thru. Food finally came out, and they still had the replacement wrong. I only had 1 1/2 gallon sweet tea. I told the employee I was supposed to have 2 and he came back with a sweet tea that was pouring over the 1/2 gallon container and didn't even bother to hand me any napkins to wipe it off. I had to ask for napkins. Overall my experience here 1 was 1 star. I wouldn't have given them that, but no stars is not an option. I will...
Read moreI was going to leave them alone but I couldn't let my last review mislead anyone. This location had briefly improved. Unfortunately, it was short-lived. I would recommend you NOT waste your time and money at this location. The food served is subpar and as awful as their sanitation rating.
Adding a final update. I've been rough on this location in the past but they've improved. Thank you lord! They finally have someone who knows how to follow their biscuit recipe. Probably the best, fluffiest biscuit I've ever had from any Bojanges. Kudos!! My Cajun filet was delicious. They hurt me with the luke warm Bo-rounds though. I can forgive. Glad to add Bojanges back into my mornings.
Updating an earlier review. I am so disappointed in the food I purchased this morning. I waited patiently at the drive-thru and finally placed my order with a very pleasant young lady. But when I arrive at work and open my bag, I saw the saddest excuse for a biscuit I've ever seen. The chicken was great...and all I could actually eat. The biscuit was so thin, I dont know how they managed to cut it half. Then it was hard and overcooked. So not cool.
I'm a Bojangles Breakfast only fan so my experiences are limited beyond hitting this particular drive through on occasion. They can be a little hit or miss sometimes. Generally the food is good and hot and the...
