We visited Elizabeth’s Pizza at Silas Crossing in Winston today around 4:00, after debating between several Italian restaurants in the area.

Nice atmosphere, appropriate music, staff all wearing masks, tables distanced apart.

We’ve eaten here before and first fell in love with Elizabeth’s when we lived in Greensboro 25 years ago before moving to the Blue Ridge Mtns. It’s nice to always have consistently great food.

Although prices were a little steeper than what was viewed online earlier, the food was good and the portions were plentiful. We all took home at least half of each entree. Plenty of options for vegetarians, which is so nice.

My daughter ordered the Baked Ziti -cheese- ( $13.99) and had the salad as her side. Great ranch dressing-not too thick, tasted homemade.

My husband ordered Spaghetti w/ Meatballs ($14.29) with soup as his side. Their soup of the day was Tomato Bisque . Highly recommend! He would have ordered a gallon to-go I think!

I had the Vegetarian Stromboli -small-($10.59) and was so happy that it had all of my favorite veggies. Onions, green peppers, mushrooms, broccoli, spinach, cheese.

We ordered garlic knots as an appetizer ($7.29) and a side of marinara sauce for dipping ($3.99). Impressive size bowl for the size, when compared to some of the other chain Italian places.

Since it was only 4:00, I didn’t order my usual wine, but they have a nice selection of both wine and beer.

Jose was friendly and attentive to our needs. He brought to-go boxes, drink cups and a bag w/o us having to ask first. Since all of our girls have been servers, we definitely appreciate...

Came here for lunch the other day with my coworker because it had been on my list and I was unfortunately disappointed in this one. We arrived around 1130am and were seated right away, beating the lunch rush. I didn't realize it was a more formal sit-down spot, but that was fine with me, I always enjoy a leisurely meal. We were seated at a booth next to the bar. They have a large menu with standard Italian offerings - appetizers, salads, pastas, pizza, etc - plus lunch specials from 11a-3p weekdays. I ended up going with the slice & salad. I ordered pepperoni and a chicken caesar salad. The salad came out first and was larger than I expected; could've been an entree, but flavor wise, it was a bit bland. The dressing was a little thinner/more liquid than I prefer. When my slice came out, it was just cheese, but our waitress kindly brought it back and returned with a pepperoni slice. Again, that was a bit of a let down too- I do like that their pizza is thin crust, but the slice was so greasy and definitely could've used more topping. My coworker had the chicken parmesan, which he seemed to enjoy. Not sure I'd rush back here; seems like it might be better for a dinner or larger party, I would like to try something from their extensive drink menu if...

So me and 2 other co-workers went to this restaurant on Wednesday, the waitress we had was very rude and nasty, we had to ask for to go cups twice as well as to go boxes twice, as we proceeded to pay for our meal, the waitress took the payments and came back to give us our receipts and collect the signed copies, then she walked off as we were still sitting talk then she comes back VERY LOUD and states “I just want to know if everything was okay with my service” we said yes. Then she walked off and came back and said loudly “I just wanted to know because y’all didn’t give me a tip” but usually when you tip you tip after you get up to leave so we didn’t even get a chance to tip her if we could. So we call the manager when we got back and let him know what happened and he said if we come back we will get a FREE meal & dessert so we call today to make sure the offer still stands and the manager says he don’t think he will be able to give us free food because it was just a miscommunication with the waitress condoning her behavior.. Waitress name is Madison and managers name is Carmin. I will let all my fellow employees as well as friends and family know of the bad experience we have had and that this is no longer a good...

We have been here quite a few times and I’m finally writing a review. Located of a major road and near two major highways, it sits in a strip mall next to Mens Warehouse. The staff is very friendly, as well as the owner. Service is fast and efficient even during the busy lunch crowd. Thou can dine in or take out. Large seating area and a bar area. Great for groups or solo. Today I stopped in for a quick bite with my daughter. We got mozzarella sticks for appetizer. Hot and gooey melted cheese, great breading on outside. The order had a good amount. We were only having two slices each but got a whole cheese pie because it was just a few dollars more. Pizza is great and their is Parmesan, pepper and pepper flakes on the tables. You have to ask for oregano and garlic salt if you desire. Pizza is really good, wether you eat it nice and hot at the restaurant or have a leftover slice a few hours later T home…….without even heating it up, that’s great pizza to me! We have had a lot of their Italian traditional dishes and never go wrong. P.S. the large Stromboli is HUGE! Definitely authentic italianos here!
