We went to Long Johns and it was a crazy hot mess. First a msn in front of us got his food and turned right around and gave it back, got his money back and left. This was at drive thru. We ordered 2 meals and 2 drinks. They food portion was a joke. Then they wont give you any of the deep fried coating anymore. They were trying to sell it, I guess now they throw it away. Two meals, 1 piece chicken tender, 1 piece fish, 2 hush puppies and a small dry slaw was over $14, crazy! The food was overcooked. In addition it took the staff 8 drinks to finally get 2 correct. When I handed the young man back the 7th incorrect drink and I went to slide the lid onto the counter, it fell to the floor.
Instantly, this young man catches an attitude and says, " Did you just throw that in here?"
After 6 incorrect drinks Im sure some people might have, but I did not. I told him NO I was trying to get it on the counter. His response, "Oh okay then." As if he was going to take me out if I did toss it back in the window to the floor intentionally?" OMG! Hire some people with some common sense and respect. Hire people who do not hook up Mello Yellow to the Sierra Mist, hire ppl who know Sierra Mist is not bright yellow, teach people to look at products before handing them to customers, and teach your employees that after making people wait while you keep handing them what they DID NOT order! To show some respect and apologize. And if your employees hook up the wrong beverage to the fountain drink server, fix it- don't lie and say you ran out! We are paying a premium for your product, and our business is what pays these...
Read moreI really hate to leave a negative review but this place definitely earned it. I went in and ordered fish and they told me that they will call my name when it's ready...nice guy at the register. I'm waiting for twenty minutes for them to call my name and nothing...I go to the counter and ask about my order and the cook says "I told you his order was ready". The manager gets my fish and I asked if it will be hot and she said with an attitude, "it just got cooked". I go out to the car and take a bite and it was lukewarm. Went back in and asked for my money back and she was pretty much in a pissed mindset at this point which is upside down. If anyone was going to be angry, wouldn't it be the customer by this time? She gives me a refund and on my way home I realized that she shorted me by two bucks and change! So, cold food, bad bad attitude from the manager (cashier was nice), left emptyhanded and got shorted on my refund:( I would not recommend this place until the general manager Mr. Kirkpatrick (name on door) does...
Read moreNot a good experience, I have always loved this place until today. My I order was not complete. I was the only one in the drive through, only three in the store. I had to wait when the food was brought out to me I ask if the malt vinegar was in the bag. The guy looked at me and said yes. I started to pull out when I seen the extra hushpuppies was not in the bag. I walked in and the young man I ask if the vinegar was in the bag he hand me vinegar. Yes, he did know that the vinegar was not in the bag, he lied. I didn't realize the one coleslaw was not in the bag until I got home. On the way I called the manager no he was not going to tell his employe that he shouldn't lie to a customer. He said there was nothing he could do he was busy.
