Wendy's — Restaurant in Winston-Salem

I stopped by Wendy’s to get a breakfast sandwich since they have been advertising it so much lately on television. I pulled up to the drive through and there was nowhere to see what they had for breakfast. It was their regular lunch and dinner menu. When she asked what I wanted I said I did not see no breakfast items displayed, she stated…..”We probably did not switch the boards over”. Then offered me a biscuit special but I said I did not like biscuits, so she mentioned a croissant with sausage, egg & cheese so I went with that as my meal. The employee’s were outside hanging out since nobody was in the store. When she came to charge me she asked me to pull up and they would take my food to me when ready. I was the only customer in the drive thru and not one single customer inside (took a pic)! After waiting a few my food was brought out, the employee was nice and courteous so no complaints there. The sandwich was ok for a fast food meal. Regular size croissant, egg tasted fresh, sausage had a little kick to it and it had Mayo which I love. Fries that come with it are like smaller potato wedges and great seasoning. It was hot so no complaint there, of all the fast food egg sandwiches, this is probably one of the better ones. Hate that menu board was not displayed properly and noticed that a lot of fast food employees are talking to you from headsets from the parking lot. The new breed of...

Can't get the drink I prefer (Lime Coke) at the drive-thru. Forced to go inside restaurant to use the fountain drink machine inside the restaurant. It sucks when I have to park and get it off my vehicle in the pouring rain because they won't give me my drink at the drive-thru. One time (not this visit, but at this location) the drive-thru operator was standing at the fountain drink machine having a very lengthy, personal conversation with her boyfriend (not an employee) while taking orders. I can understand when you don't want your drive-thru operator to leave their station to go around the corner to the drink machine.... but she was already there AND she even came back to continue her visit with her boyfriend after serving the meal to the car after me. Why would she refuse to make my soda if she was standing there anyway?! Either get one of those machines in back, or figure out how to serve your customers what they want. Especially since the drink that I want is available at...

My last few experiences have been on point with my Drive Thru visit to Wendy's on University Pkwy, WS, NC.

The Food has been hot when delivered. All Condiments was inside of the bag, such as napkins, cutlery, sauces for nuggets, straw.

Customer Service has been on point to my surprise as I was greeted when I pulled up and I had to wait before placing my order, I was asked to please hold without being made to feel like I was a bother for using the Drive Thru, I was spoken to in a calm voice without being made to feel like you don't want my dollars, before pulling off from the Drive Thru, I always checky order and the Cashier asked if everything was correct.

Parking lot was clean and there were NO beggars asking for some change.

OVERALL I prefer this Wendy's versus others in the city other than the location located across from Baptist Hospital.
