After a extremely long wait time in drive-thru, I decided to try again at a different location. Upon arrival, there was one car in line in front of me. After waiting a minute, I started a timer. At the 3 minute mark, the car in front of me pulled away from the order kiosk. I don't know if he had ordered or was just tired of waiting. I pulled up to the kiosk and waited there another 7 minutes. A car that had pulled in behind me left and I kept thinking they would be taking my order any second. Finally, I had waited enough and pulled away from the kiosk. As I rounded the corner, I saw the clerk leaning out the delivery window laughing and talking to someone in a car at the window. This was not the car that had left the ordering location earlier. I leaned out my window and asked if orders were being taken. She said yes to me and then said something to the person in the car at the window. That car pulled forward but didn't leave. When I pulled up to the delivery window, the clerk told me the delay was because she was having to take orders, collect money and give the order to customers. Although from what I saw, she wasn't really taking any orders. I placed my order with her, paid and started waiting for my order. I could clearly see into the restaurant and clearly, they were not busy. After another 2 to 3 minutes, a different clerk brought my order to the window and handed it to me. The chicken nuggets were grossly over cooked to the point of almost being black and they were cold. The bacon on the bacon cheeseburger was also cooked to the same level of doneness as the chicken and was also cold. The fries was the only item that was as they should be - cooked correctly and delivered hot. It took a total of 14 minutes from the time I pulled into the drive-thru lane until I pulled away from the...
Read moreTL;DR – 0/10 recommend. Get somebody else to do it. I love Wendy’s but this is quite possibly one of the worst locations I’ve ever patronized. Go to a different one.
I was headed home from work and decided to stop by to grab some food for my commute home. I ordered my food so that I could just grab my food and go.
When I got to the window, the manager (who was working the drive through) asked if I was paying with a card or not before asking me for my order. I informed her that I completed a mobile order: to which she said “you have to come inside for that.”
When I arrived inside, I had to wait about five minutes before the guy at the register asked me if I had anything I wanted to order. I informed him that I had a mobile order and selected drive through; so I was not sure why I was asked to come inside.
He let me know that my order was at the drive through screen and asked what I ordered. I told him my name (which should have been enough) he asked what I ordered (as if nothing appeared on the screen). I showed him my app where it was clear that my order had been submitted to this Wendy’s. He asked for my order again.
I just canceled my order and left. This is NOT the first time I’ve had a problem at this location. They have frequently added cheese to my burger where I CLEARLY selected NO cheese, and I have a dairy allergy.
I just don’t have good experiences here. My fries have been intermittently cold. The staff always seems to have an attitude for the slightest reason. And this particular visit, I’m pretty sure I caught people making out in the bathroom and trying to close the door really quick on my way out.
I would have left this review in the app but the live chat in the “contact us” section of the app wouldn’t load for...
Read moreThis Wendy's is in a very bad part of town. I have been a loyal Wendy's customer and went to use some of my points for a Dave's classic. After spending about 20 minutes to figure out how to use my points, I made a visit to scan my code. Upon arrival, there was a line of people who ordered and another line of people who were waiting to order. I was in the order line for about 10 minutes when all of a sudden, chaos broke out between the drive thru person and a guest. Before I new it, the drive thru employee had made his way to the lobby and proceeded to get into a brawl with this guest knocking over tables and chairs everywhere. I left for my safety because the brawl was escalating rapidly.
Fast forward to December 3rd, the day before my coupon expired (I wanted what I earned). I tried to use the app to get the coupon in a mobile order. I could never figure it out but managed to get the QR code so that I could scan in the restraunt. I was torn but told myself that the previous issue was just that and I gained the courage to come in again. Well, after waiting in a line of about 5 people waiting to order for 20 minutes which dwindled down to 3 people waiting to order (keep in mind the other 2 guests were now waiting for their food), I was becoming frustrated. What happens next??? Two guests start getting into a heated argument. What did I get myself in??? My PTSD from the earlier experience kicked in and I left out of fear. I never did get my free sandwich that I earned, but it was either the sandwich or my safety. I obviously chose my safety. Please avoid this Wendy's at all cost unless you have all day to wait in line and a great life...
