Very disappointed! My husband and I ordered from here today. We were supposed to get Jerk Chicken and Escovitch Snapper. First off, when we called they were very rude and was rushing us to complete our order. Everything we asked about...they were out of. I'm guessing it would have been too polite and accommodating to just tell us what was available rather than having to keep us guessing. Also, they didn't tell us how much the order came out to nor did they tell us how long it would take or even take our name down. In the midst of my husband asking those three questions, they hung up on him...yes you heard right...very rude. That was strike two. Next we gave them 30 plus minutes to get the food ready before we showed up because it's just always common to wait long when ordering from them...usually we don't mind this, because the food is good. They don't have the inside open and only two people at a time can come in and pick up their order at their make sifted "COVID" berrier. It just so happen to be storming very badly today...My husband had to wait in the rain in a line of people for 10 additional minutes. When he finally gets inside...not only do they not have our order ready, but they asked what NAME the order was placed under...none, because you didn't bother to stay on the phone to get it! Then they asked what type of fish I wanted for the Escovitch fish...Again, you could have known this had you not had such poor customer service skills. What a waste of time! The oxtails fall right off the bone literally. Can't pick up a big piece without some slabs falling off lort! You honestly don't even need your teeth to get it off the bone I'm serious. Thats amazing to me lol so sorry about the rant. But other than that, the flavor is okay I've had better flavor in my oxtails before and the waiting area is so small and compact that only two people can go inside at a time and do the whole social distancing thing. Threes a crowd literally. Overall I recommend trying the oxtails, though I warn you to be careful of small bones. I guess they cut them a lil odd but you'll have a few lil bone fragments all throughout your oxtails so chew slowly and carefully. This was a terrible experience would not recommend. I went out with my friend and my mom and we went to this place at a food truck. After the long line we finally ordered and we had to wait almost 20 minutes for our food and when we got it, my friend only got 5 pieces of oxtail and the coleslaw was spicier than the rice and peas. I got chicken wings and festivals and the chicken was so bland that I physically could not eat it yet somehow the wings were still bright red (also it was missing a wing).
