As someone who works with customer service and food, I know what it’s like working in food. But I also know normal standards of how to treat customers. And the manager at this location was so incredibly rude. The manager on 12/06/21 around 6:15pm looked very annoyed for having to take my order. I don’t like to judge people just on their “looks” as the person could simply be having a bad day which is understandable. I ordered a slushy and when my order came, there was no slushy and my order was wrong. I ordered a quarter pounder with only cheese and it came regular quarter pounder and the patty was burnt black, looked disgusting. (And I am not a fan of calling food disgusting) Anyways the worst part was when I very politely asked if I could have a new quarter pounder with only cheese like I had asked. Again…. Not a huge deal i wasn’t giving any attitude I know what it’s like working in food sometimes we just don’t hear the other person. The problem was when the manager said “you didn’t say only cheese.” And I said “yes I did, but that’s ok can I just have a new one?” And I said it very nicely even laughing. And she went “no you didn’t say that.” And it went back and forth until eventually she said “fine I’ll make you another one.” So rude, and coming from a manager???? I wasn’t anything but nice to her, and she was so rude. She looked miserable, and if she hates her job she should work somewhere where she doesn’t have to deal with people. I get it, we all have bad days but don’t take it out on customers. I wish I had gotten her name, completely unprofessional. Even if I didn’t say only cheese, she could have just said “sorry for the misunderstanding, I’ll make you another one.” There done!! Read moreWent through drive thru today and ordered pretty big order, as normal with a big family. We frequent this establishment often and up until today have had decent service. After driving off, checked our food and realizing we were short 2 large fries (approximately $1.90 per), we drove back around. When arriving back in the drive thru, we had to wait back in line, which was busy due to the lunch rush. When finally making it to the 2nd window, I explained our order was short 2 large fries. At first everyone was confused and repeatedly stated they provided us 2 large fries however, the total should have been 4. After the staff couldn't figure it out, the so-called manager came to the window and I repeated my order to her as well and explained the situation of being short 2 large fries. She explained that they did not charge me for the fries (which I could not verify due to not accepting the receipt as the staff was not wearing any gloves during the COVID outbreak) even though I stated that I had order the additional fries. At this point I stated that since it was their mistake and the fact that my other food at this point was getting cold it should be compensated. She refused to do so as she stated since they didn't charge me they were not going to provide the fries but would if they could charge me. I guess there is no "customers always right" at this facility. More importantly, they have lost a loyal customer over a measly $4.00. Instead of turning left, I will now turn right and go to a competitor MCD that is the exact same distance...
Read moreAs others have stated - this is the worst McDonalds I think there is. Historically, we've taken our daughters here for happy meals as a treat. Virtually every time we've gone, they never get the order correct. It's usually missing something, or missing the drinks.
Today, I asked to speak to the manager to provide feedback as to this. Jacob, the manager on shift today, came up and stood in front of me immediately with his arms crossed - a body language sign that he didn't want to hear what I had to say and didn't care. When I pointed this out to him he immediately got defensive. I told him about the experiences we've been having and basically he did not care, basically saying to just take our food and go.
My wife went up to him as of course, they didn't get our order correct - as she is the more calm one than I am. He basically told her no, they would fix our order, and again to just leave.
We have never been treated so poorly for trying to offer feedback about our experience at a restaurant. Needless to say, we will never be back here. It's a shame - since these cost so much to franchise, I'd think that the actual owner of this establishment would care about how it's performing, but based on reading other comments, they don't...
