I arrived at the Winter Garden location around 5:45 to order new glasses. When I arrived, there was one sales associate working and he was helping another customer, who at the time was the only other customer in the store. She was trying to get her son's broken glasses fixed. When I walked in, I wasn't greeted but didn't think anything of it at first. I proceeded to try on glasses until the associate finished with the customer. I was just in the store last week and narrowed down my selection after my exam but didn't have time to place my order. I had pictures of the glasses that I wanted on my phone. While waiting on the associate I continued to try on glasses and another customer walked in with her son. I noticed that the associate greeted her. I thought that was interesting considering that he hadn't said a word to me. The associate wrapped up things with the first customer and proceeded to help the customer who walked in after me, still not saying a word to acknowledge me even being in the store. I did, however, catch him watching me from time to time. I could see him staring at me through the mirrors. This second customer said that she would be quick as her son was trying to purchase the same pair of glasses that he bought before. Well she wasn't quick at all. Her son's purchase wasn't coming up in the system and then there was an issue with their insurance. Once that matter was resolved, the associate helped the son pick out sunglasses. By this time, I had browsed the entire women's selection of glasses out of boredom and had taken the extra glasses that I wanted to purchase out of my box. So I was now only in the mood to buy one pair. So the associate finally finished with the customer and then came and asked if I was there to pick up glasses. Keep in mind that I was holding the pair of glasses that I wanted to purchase. I told him that I was there to order glasses and he said that he couldn't help me since the store was about to close. I said well you could've said that to me instead of letting me stand her this whole time. He said well the hours are posted on the door. I informed him that I arrived prior to the last customer that he helped and he said "I'm sorry, I can't do anything about that". So I put the glasses down and left. I'm not sure why the associate thought that this other customer was more worthy of service than I was but my money is spent just like hers. I deserved to be served prior to her since I arrived prior to her but I left out of this establishment with no service at all. I definitely won't be back to this establishment, which is unfortunate as I just established my eye care with the optometrist on-site. I came to Visionworks because the company is in my insurance company's network. Reduced out-of-pocket costs or not, I'd rather take my money where I'm provided the...
Read moreI'm not one to write reviews unless the service is the worst of the worst, or I'm so impressed that I want to tell the whole world. Believe me, I'm not easy to impress. So, I called Visionworld, and they conveniently scheduled me to see the eye doctor with many choices of appointments. I arrived at the store on my schedule day ( keep in mind that for years is being a stressful transaction for me because I have no clue what frames look good on me ) and there were two young ladies waiting for me. They seemed to be happy and relaxed, and they definitely knew what they were talking about, especially when the technician did the testing on my eyes. I have to say that when I saw the doctor, I was ready with several questions because my eyes were changing, so she very precisely answered every one of them on I way that was easy to understand. She was right on every answer. I know that because I already had Google the questions, so it was very reaffirming, but at the same time, she gave me some extra information. Then, the very stressful part of my appointment...... selecting the frames. Were, a lady with the name of Yesenia, made the selection so EASY and organic that I felt very relaxed and I was having fun. She 1st asked me a few questions, and from there, she bombarded me with so many options but at the same time she will have advice on every one of them that made my selection so easy and stress free. For the 1st time, I'm in an optical place, and I'm relaxed. She even involved one of the employees for a third opinion on my last few options. Hey, listen! At my age, I have to face reality. I'm not pretty, but I'm not ugly either. I'm pretty ugly! lol So when I received my new glasses and I looked at myself in the mirror, I was looking so good that I was excited. I think that the very relaxed atmosphere and the so very knowledgeable people that I got in contact with made such a difference. The great selections of quality frames made a big difference as well. There was also a young guy working there who had some words with me that were funny and full of life. I thought to myself, "These are very genuine and humble people." I don't want this review to sound like an infomercial, but I tell you one thing: when my eye benefits kick in this upcoming January, I will be back for more glasses. I'm greatfull. I find this place. Now if I can find a dentist with the same quality...
Read moreI don't share my views (ha..pun intended) often. I'm very selective on what I promote. That all said, I have NEVER shared a review seconds after the conclusion of services received. I can't believe how AMAZING my experience at this location of Visionworks was. I can't speak to Visionworks as a whole, but I'd assume they follow the same vision (again pun intended).
My experience at this location..I was able to get through the pre vision checks with amazing ease. Within 10 min of meeting with well informed reps, and a fantastic pre screen professional, I was sitting with my optometrist. She guided me through some final checks and was very willing to tackle every question I threw at her. I was mostly curious about the technology (I do work in software) and even these "off topic" questions were answered seriously and with the same care I got around my vision issues.
Then I was done. Well almost. It was time for me to pick out new glasses. Here is where they really got me to see where they shine (ugh..I got to stop these). My rep let me go through the typical motion of looking at frames, then met me to talk about what I was REALLY looking for. He took time to really measure my wants and size my face up. He came out with about 7 options and I ended up going with two of his suggestions.
He then took time to measure my head and talk to me about any other needs I had. I didn't feel rushed, I felt consulted. Rare points of view in this day and age (sigh...really another pun?)
Most amazingly, even though I was quoted a week+ turn around time, I got my glasses in 4 days. I can't testify this will be your turn around, but wow.
Once it was time for me to pick up my new glasses, the rep took time to make sure they were a great fit and was as warm and pleasant as every interaction I had.
I can't..can not at all, recommend Visionworks at this location enough. My family will be coming in soon, and I will tell everyone (including you) what a fantastic experience I had. Thank you Visionworks! You have earned a lifelong customer! I have seen the light...
