Perfect treat. The apples were not too sweet since they have that sour punch of Granny Smith apples. They were the perfect mix of sweet and sour. We did not try them with ice cream, the machine was down. However, the combo of caramel dip with whipped cream was decadent enough. Our family of 4 split this treat and it wad enough for all of us.

The apple fries with ice cream is nothing like anything I have ever had. It strikes a nice balance of tart apple and sweet vanilla ice cream wrapped up in cinnamon and sugar and topped with a drizzle of caramel sauce. The apple fries are served hot and cold ice cream melts on contact, it's a beautiful balance of temperature and flavor.

While the food at Legoland is mostly your typical theme park fare, be sure and try Granny’s apple fries. These fries are made of Granny Smith apples, fried crispy and covered with cinnamon/sugar and served with some whip cream for dipping - a tasty treat after a day at the park!
