Wendy's — Restaurant in Winter Haven

I had the worst experience I've ever had at this location on this past Sunday. After church, my family and I decided to get a quick bite to eat. We've visited this location quite a few times in the past and normally the experience is good to fair, but not my recent visit. It was the complete opposite. The so-called manager Venus is the worst. When I first walked into the restaurant, I did not know that customers have to use a kiosk to place their orders, so I walked up to the counter thinking that this is where I am supposed to go to place my order. Venus rudely told me that I had to use the kiosk. I ignored her nasty attitude and proceeded to the kiosks to place my order. My younger brother and sister followed and placed their order. I did not want to deal with Venus' attitude, so I dealt with another manager name Demetrius. Night and day attitude difference. He was very nice and kind. I asked him if I can get my order fried fresh. He nicely told Venus about my request and again, she was rude and said all orders are always fresh (which we all know is a lie). So I told Demetrius that I did not like her attitude and I wanted my money back. He begged me not to do so and said that he will cook the order himself. Keep in mind that Venus did NOT have on any gloves while handling the food and you can tell that her ugly attitude brought down the moral of the rest of the crew. The energy was just her dark and toxic. So for the sake of the other manager, I did not do the refund. My sister ordered so coffee drink and with an attitude, she told my sister that they were out of cream and that she can get a fountain drink. I overheard the conversation and kindly informed Venus that my sister's drink was an up charge and she needs to be refunded the difference. Again she was rude and said for my sister to get a large drink instead of a medium and that will off set the difference. At that time, I had had it with her attitude and told the other manager that I wanted my money back. While making my complain to Demetrius, another customer said Venus was rude to her as well. Demetrius proceeded to call the district manager and literally said another customer (talking about me) was asking for a refund because Venus' attitude AGAIN. This let me know that I was not the only person that she has done this to. I will never come back to this location as long as she is working there and I will be letting my church congratulation know about my experience and tell them not to visit this location again.

I went online to try and file a complaint and received an error message saying wrong email format. I deal with computers all day every day and I know how to properly enter an email address. So, I decided to get up this Monday morning and give them a call. I have been on hold for over 30...

as this location has never been a shining Beacon of perfection and performance in the franchise. my expectations have always been somewhat Limited. however due to its convenient location 2 my work and extreme hunger I visit it on a sporadic basis. and did so this evening so I could enjoy the new Renovations that I knew they had made. actually imagine my shock when the food was the highlight of the visit this time. the renovations have been done in such a way that doesn't encourage anybody to stay and eat at the restaurant and they have moved almost half of their seats outside. this is Florida who wants to sit outside the majority of the year when it's a hundred degrees with 90% humidity and a dew point of 73. you are greeted when you walk in the door with the compact size of the restaurant and immediately having a self-service screen shoved in in your face so you can place your own order. with no clear Direction on what you are supposed to do. So I placed my order and went and sat down at one of the limited options for seating. when my name was called I received my food and had to ask where I could get my drink as I hadn't received a cup. thankfully one of the employees showed me that they were shoved in a corner behind behind a self-service area. the food wasn't bad this trip but I had no need to actually sit and enjoy my food as I was eating in a compact tiny space. please whatever Focus group Think Tank told you that Floridians would love to sit outside rather than a nice comfortable Restaurant. please have them give some of the money you paid them back. the only redeeming quality this location before was the staff was friendly an Interactive. now I have a screen and food laid on a counter for me to pick up when my...

So tonight, my brother, boyfriend, and I decided to go to wendys. We ordered food, at the first window the lady took wayyy too long to even open up the window and ask for our payment, she then proceeded to move and talk very slowly, then asked that we stay at the first window. Meanwhile there's already a line forming. we ask why we cant move to the second window, and she says "theres only one person working" . we could obviously tell she's just trying to hold back the line of customers. eventually we move forward to the second window, we see about three other workers besides the lady at the first window. The older lady at the second window, opens the window after a while, immediately gives us an attitude and gave us 1 of our drinks and tell us to pull forward. we are now behind about three cars and theres more cars behind us. After a long while the older lady comes out side and gives our bags of food, and walks away immediately. We then realize we need our drinks and let her know. after like a few minutes she brings our drinks.We were also missing fries, she tried saying the lady at the first window didn't ring it up. But we ordered it and need them. it comes with biggie bag, we got a side of baconator frires with that. they misunderstood. As we are telling her she just walks away, we let her know we need the fries, she says "you dont need to be rude". Mind you shes been rude to us the entire time. She comes back after a while with the fries and finally is nice and says "have a blessed night." Wow. just a horrible experience.
