Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Winter Haven

The food is absolutely great but tbh as a Google Reviewer, I have to always speak on Customer Service and Employee actions. The Employees at this site are absolutely great. I stopped going to Zaxbys a few years ago because of Employee actions at another location and how the food was being presented. But I stopped in this one on Cypress Gardens because not alot of restaurants carry the "Flavored" soda machines and I'm an avid Diet Coke w/Lime drinker. I ordered a large, got the cup and proceeded to make. I was having alot of difficulty with the machine as I am one hand disabled. "James" who like to be called "Tay" immediately assisted me, took my cup and asked my drink flavor, made it for me, smiled and asked if anything else was needed? Thats it for me!! I have returned almost DAILY since if for nothing else but my drink and he knows what I drink lol. Michelle was nice enough to give me his info so I could write this and also shares daily smiles and conversation with myself and other customers. Note to Zaxbys......(Please bring back the fried mushrooms) Continue to hire and keep wonderful employees as a few of your other locations should take example from this one because believe it or not, customers frequent food establishments for the service to be as wonderful as the food! Just had an absolutely atrocious experience at this location in winter haven. Could hardly hear the guy on the speaker in the drive thru. He cut me off multiple times trying to order 3 meals and a couple of additional drinks. The terror continued as some lady who must have been having a terrible day then handed us 1 of our 2 large drinks. I said is this the diet Dr Pepper or the coke and she snapped back “whichever is large” to which I said I ordered two large drinks. Her constituent in this nightmare said that’s the diet Dr Pepper. I then asked her for a couple of additional sauces and instead of saying no problem or my pleasure like a human being, she continued this example of the worst customer service routine and said “50 cents then”. As we were rushed to grab the drinks, my fiance checked the bag and there were no straws. I asked kindly even though I was pretty annoyed and she said loudly “they are in the bag!!” To which I said they aren’t and she basically threw the straws at me. Before I could even get over how this place employs this person and was going to ask for some extra napkins, she closed the window as I was inconveniencing her today at the establishment she works at. Needless to say I was in a rush, hence being in the drive thru, and trying to get back to a dance studio, but if I had the time I would have gone inside and let them know just how poor the service was. I order from this zaxbys all the time, the food is great and I usually never have issues here compared to other places but I went in recently to pick up a mobile order that included via the app one zax sauce so when I checked the bag and didn’t see any I went up to the counter to ask for one and a young girl with black hair (I didn’t get her name) immediately gave me attitude and said it was 25 cents which is fine but again the app said it was included when I tried to show the girl my app she rolled her eyes and said “25 cents for the sauce or I can help you with something else” so I thought whatever and I paid the 25 cents then as I was making a comment to another customer about how I thought it was kind of crazy to make people pay for sauce the girl said “it’s not included it’s always 25 cents!” When I wasn’t talking to her at all..she had so much attitude and hatefulness it was unreal and made me very uncomfortable then she never gave me the sauce and I had to go into the drive thru to have someone else give it to me because I was actually scared to face that girl again she was beyond mean so I just felt like letting people know but again didn’t get her name and I definitely won’t be going inside this location again...
