I've now decided to give this location 3 stars only so the owner doesn't think I'm attacking him personally. I'm sure there are times when this location has it together (I hope). But when I've gone in the mid-late afternoon it has been a bad experience at least 5 times now. I will remove these complaints when this location gets it together and this location is as clean and professionally run as other Chic-Fil-As in Orlando.
Update 5/30/18 - Owner called me today and complained to me aggressively and unprofessionally that I wasn't giving him a "fair shake". He complained to me that hundreds of people go through there at lunch and when I come in after lunch it is understandable that the location is dirty with sticky tables (note that my pictures are from 3:00-4:00pm, not right after lunch). He said he will spend a million dollars to upgrade the location. He said my pictures show only "crumbs". First of all, my pictures do not just show crumbs, and I have 5 more pictures that Google Maps didn't post because they are of the tile floor, which show lots of DIRT on the ground that hasn't been cleaned yet. Second, I am not attacking this owner personally. He probably is a nice guy, though I hope he never calls me again. I am reporting this location as dirty, because it is when I go in. THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN AT THE Chic-Fil-A LOCATION ON FORSYTH. That location is ALWAYS clean and comfortable, and it is very busy as well! He doesn't need to spend a million dollars to replace the tables and other equipment. He just needs to manage his employees like nearly every other Chic-Fil-A, with professional, hard working employees that are constantly doing their job - cleaning and friendly serving customers.
Update 4/28/18 - still filthy and employee kids playing around. More filthy pictures attached. Toilet backed up. I sat down at what looked like the only clean table... nope, sticky and gross. I won't let my four-year-old son eat in there. We ate in the car and then went to another establishment to use the playground.
I love Chick-fil-A. I hate this location! It is the closest one to my house and it is the worst one I've ever been to. I will often drive to one of the locations on University instead, which are run much more professionally. I hate the fact that this is my closest Chick-fil-A. My son was craving Chick-fil-A and I decided to give this location another shot for the third time. Boy was I disappointed again! I have no idea what their problem is but the floors are often dirty and I have to hunt for a clean table when the place is practically empty. I have only been to this location three times and each time it was in the mid to late afternoon. I don't know if it's the timing but this place is dirty. In addition to that the service is sluggish and rude. I am pretty sure all of these problems stem from the management of this location. It's not just one employee that's lazy or rude, it's like a theme here. Here is the conversation that I had with the sales clerk this time: I greet him with a "hello how are you doing" and he greets me with a "dining in or taking out?" No greeting, no smile, just what do you want. Then I say I would like some chicken nuggets, we don't need the combo. And he says "would you like to make that a meal?" Then I said "didn't you just hear me say I don't need the combo." And he says no sorry about that. The last time I came here I stood at the counter for about five minutes while several of them ploys were having a conversation in front of me. They waited until the conversation was done to take my order and they sure as hell didn't apologize. The only redeeming factor that I can give this location is the food itself hasn't been ruined. I've never had anything cold or not taste good or believe me I would've really...
Read moreI went to this Chick-fil-A today. I was so disappointed. I normally go to this Chick-fil-A once or twice a month with my kids since itâs so close to their school. Meals that come with vanilla ice cream cones and I also ordered a chicken tortilla soup for myself. I had place my order through Chick-fil-Aâs mobile app and used my Apple Pay. My problem with this Chick-fil-A is when they handed me the ice cream cones that came with my kids meals and I ordered one ice cream cone for myself that ice cream looked contaminated. I advised employee that the ice cream did not look normal. It was already melting when he handed me the cones, and then my daughter tasted her cone and she said it tasted weird like it was spoiled, so I asked the employee to get the manager and I gave them back the ice cream cones and ask for a refund. The manager took over five minutes to come to the window to help out. She then proceeded to have an employee get another cone from the ice cream machine to check the ice cream and she showed me the ice cream I said to her, the ice cream does not look normal looks spoiled and why does it not look white it look like it was like a pale, light brown color. The kicker to all of this was I witnessed the employees put the ice cream back into the machine. That is a food and safety, health code violation. Never have I ever witness such negligence. I contacted the Chick-fil-A customer care Support and they said that they reported the issue to their leadership team. The owner of the restaurant called me two hours later to tell me that he was going to have the ice cream machine cleaned. He emailed me 3 rewards for free dessert which is unsatisfactory. My daughter is sick now. I am so disgusted and I will not be going back to this Chick-fil-A in Winter...
Read moreThe food at Chick-fil-A is pretty consistent across the chain in my experience, so this review isnât about that. Itâs about books. Stay with me.
Chick-fil-A has done this thing as far back as I can remember where they offer books with the kids meals for younger children as an alternative to ice cream or something. I always did the books for my older two kids because they were close in age and split one kids meal, and a book is a lot easier to share than an ice cream cone. But the kids were wild about the books⊠and for good reason! Back in the day they did an abbreviated version of the Narnia series, they did Duck for PresidentâŠit was great.
So todayâŠI have a toddler again (thatâs a book in and of itself) and he is obsessed with books. Heâs under 2 and too young for all the toys that come with kids meals. I got him Chick-fil-A from this location a few weeks ago and had him all pumped up for the book. We got home, and there was no book in the bag⊠It was a sad moment, but one that delicious chicken nuggets quickly redeemed.
I took this little guy back to this Chick-fil-A today for a quick chicken nugget lunch and the full throttle excitement of a board book. I sheepishly asked for a second book if they had one and explained what happened last time. I canât tell you how much I hate being that person, and I was waiting for some rolling eyes or frustrated âcan you believe this?â tones of voice.
I got NO SUCH TREATMENT. The employees (chick-fil-Angels) were so accommodating and awesome. And they got my baby bookworm his two books with a smile and all the efficiency theyâre known for.
So yeahâas always, itâs a great day at Chick-Fil-A and because of them. Happy toddler = happy 10...
