Our family had the most incredible experience dining at Jala Indian Restaurant — truly one of the best Indian fine dining restaurants we’ve ever been to! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a calming, beautiful atmosphere filled with soft lighting, elegant décor, and a relaxing sense of luxury. It immediately felt like the perfect blend of sophistication and warmth — ideal for both couples and families.

We started with pani puri shots, which were such a fun and flavorful way to kick off our meal, and the dragon chicken, which had the perfect balance of spice and flavor. The garlic naan was soft, fresh, and full of flavor — it paired perfectly with everything that followed.

For our entrées, we tried the butter chicken, chicken tikka, and kadai chicken — each dish was rich, aromatic, and bursting with authentic Indian spices. Every bite tasted freshly made and beautifully balanced. My personal favorite part of the meal was dipping that warm garlic naan into the buttery, flavorful sauce of the butter chicken — absolutely heavenly!

To drink, we ordered virgin mango lassi and the fresh Indian mojito so the kids could enjoy them too. The mojito was refreshingly light and perfectly minty, while the mango lassi was creamy, sweet, and such a hit with everyone at the table.

Our kids were thrilled with their meals too — the kids’ naan cheese pizza was fresh, cheesy, and delicious, and the kids’ chicken and fries were cooked perfectly. It was wonderful to see such thoughtful options for even the pickiest eaters, proving that fine dining doesn’t have to be impossible for families.

We ended the night with two amazing desserts — the lava cake, which was rich and decadent, and the kesar pista kulfi, which was so unique with its depth of flavor and creamy texture. It was the perfect way to end such a memorable dinner.

OKAY FOLKS: We've eaten take-home from here 7 times now. Different hours, different days. NEVER less than FRESH & DELICIOUS! When it's me who picks it up I always ask for Nick because he's so dedicated to excellence and it shows. I feel certain now that there could be nothing unacceptable on their menu but our irresistable favs are the creamy smooth and tender BUTTER CHICKEN and the BUTTER LOBSTER. My all-time go-to is LAMB TIKKA MASALA and Jala's is mouth wateringly great! Be sure to get their lovely NAAN so you can sop up every drop of that gravy/sauce. And oh neighbors....remember Jala's (seriously best ever) BIRYANIS...especially their HOUSE SPECIAL COMBINATION BIRYANI!!! Also, my friends that I sent have shared picks of the inside and WOW, what a beautiful, romantic - even sexy - place for a SPECIAL OCCASION! DAMN PEOPLE!!! It took me 3 1/2 years to find it, but I found a GENUINELY SPECTACLAR Northern Indian Restaurant here in central Florida in Winter Park! Check this out.... They have a kind of indo-chinese starter SPRING ROLL. Too curious to pass it up I ordered that and their CHICKEN 65 starter. The delectable aromas made my eyes lustfully roll back in my head! But the real joy came with my first bite of each. The Chef is indisputably gifted. The obviously fresh menu items are cooked to perfection and clearly planned with care. I was so delighted, I ordered BUTTER CHICKEN, LAMB TIKKA MASALA, JAJA SPECIAL BIRYANI and LAMB BIRYANI to take home. I'm excited to try them and will be sharing my experience in a subsequent review. I drive an hour and a half each way to come here and every mile is WORTH IT and then some. DELICIOUS!!! Be sure to say hi to NICK who is...
