I see a lot of positive reviews, which I'm guessing must be from the previous ownership since this current establishment has been extremely frustrating to deal with especially during the pandemic.
Albeit that there must be issues of revenue due to COVID-19, but Dunkin' is known to do amazing promos throughout the year to make sure people get in the door. Whether its free donut fridays, $1 coffee wednesdays or some double point system through their app, but the effort this management/ownership on wixom road goes to in efforts to guarantee you do not redeem any level of coupons/gift cards/mobile app promos is disgusting and should be grounds for closure.
The rudeness of the "manager" (desi lady - i didn't catch her name, but she seems to oversee whoever works the register) makes me wonder how she was able to even obtain status as a franchisee.
Customer service is poor. Inventory is poor - They are often out of any popular item, whether it be a certain flavor donut, a type of espresso, or even napkins. and just overall appeal outside is bad too.
More than anything, this location is a disappointment. I came here to support immigrant-owned and Indian-owned businesses, but it would be better for this location to be fully taken over by someone else with even an ounce of an experience which this team does not have or be put out if their misery since I can imagine this being closed down in 6 months. This location is surviving purely on name recognition alone & the quality of food here isn't even worth it.
There's a Tim Horton's and Starbucks literally 1 mile down the street. You'll feel much better throughout your day knowing you didn't have to interact with the staff at...
Read moreToday, my 74 yr old mother who is on oxygen due to some rare lung diseases went through the Drive Thru at this location. Not only did they not understand English very well she was verbally assaulted by the person at the window. She tried to order 4 bags of French Vanilla Coffee, repeated herself 4 times. Something not understandable came out of the speaker, so she drove up to the window. The 1st person said to her, "Did you order something?" Yes, for the the 5th time, 4 bags of French Vanilla Coffee. The person went to the bags of coffee then went to the ice cream then another person showed up at the window, asking again " What did you order?" My mother at this point is highly frustrated and said this is the 6th time, 4 bags of French Vanilla Coffee....the person comes back with the coffee, she asks for a bag. The guys says, "No, I'm not giving you a bag because you are old and grumpy. My mother said that's great customer service.. Then he says, " Go on,, you are on your last days of your life and that is why you are so grumpy." I have NEVER in my life heard such disrepect and these people want to make $15/hr. The manager was called and a report will be made their corporate office. I highly recommend to avoid...
Read moreWARNING POSSIBLE CREDIT/DEBIT CARD SKIMMING PROBLEM AT THIS LOCATION My debit card was overcharged $15.98 on a $4.02 bill, totaling up to a flat $20 charge. I don't even think I was even given a receipt, I certainly did not look at it if they did (my bad). Came in to speak to a manager and was told that I had to have the receipt to get a refund. Not sure what a receipt would prove other than that a $20 charge was made since that it was actually happened (proof from my banking statement).
So, hence, the warning. I'm concerned that cards are being overcharged on purpose and someone is hoping that people don't notice and/or dispute the charges.
MAKE DOUBLE SURE YOU GET A RECEIPT FROM THIS LOCATION AND CHECK THE AMOUNT CHARGED BEFORE LEAVING!
DISPUTE ALL INCORRECT CHARGES THAT YOU DO NOT CATCH ON LOCATION WITH YOUR BANKING INSTITUTION, EVEN IF YOU DONT HAVE A RECEIPT! IF THEY HAVE TOO MANY DISPUTES/CHARGEBACKS (EVIDENCE OF IRRESPONSIBLE OR FRAUDULANT ACTIVITY) THEY WILL LOSE THEIR GOOD STANDING WITH THE CREDIT PROCESSORS AND WILL LOSE THEIR ABILITY TO ACCEPT CARDS!
I certainly won't go back to...
