This is by far the worst experience I had at red lobster, I don't leave reviews like this but i'm just bewildered by how terrible this experience was. On Sunday, my dad and I wanted to go to red lobster to eat since it's been a while since we last ate at a red lobster. We usually go to the one in the city or by Seacaucus, but this one was nearby my job so we gave it a shot.
Anyways, We arrive and we immediately see a hoard of people outside the restaurant (which is fine, again I assume they were a party waiting for others to arrive). so my father and I went in, and immediately, A server asked us "Are you the party for 25?" And we said "no". So then the waiter said "oh okay." And walked away. So my father and I waited for around 5 minutes for another server to sit us down.
Once we sat down, my father and I ordered Pepsi, when they arrived it literally tasted like seltzer water with a drop of pepsi, it was pretty gross... The main course I had was the ultimate feast, and my father had a sirloin steak, and the waiter didn't even ask me for what sides I wanted so I received two random sides that I didn't ask for (still ate it anyway, no point of asking since i'm hungry and tired). My father did get the sides he asked for though.
And finally, I wanted to brighten my day so I asked for the chocolate wave cake to go. The waitress gave me the bag with my dessert, we left, only to find out (when I arrived home) they didn't even give me the right dessert. They gave me some damn brownies. (I didn't even know they had brownies???) and they were stale too!
By far, the worst red lobster i've been too in terms of service, and they doubled in price the last time I went. (two soups, one sirloin steak, "cake", and the ultimate feast costed us over 140 dollars apparently...) Never again will I go to...
Read moreI normally do not come to Red Lobster, being I'm not a seafood fan. I brought my wife because she loves it, and we needed some alone time together. The hostess, I believe her name was Anita (I hope I didn't mess her name up) was vibrant and the most refreshing of staff in the atmosphere! Very friendly, very kind, and even tried to cater to my physical disability. Moving forward, our waitress.. Not so warm or verbal. It was opening hours, so I don't see how your energy can be that low within the first 10 minutes of opening. Maybe it's just me, the biscuits are always great đ đ I came with the intent of eating, I think over ate on the biscuits, though. My meal seemed bland (I had fish and chips) compared to the biscuits flavor, and the tartar sauce wasn't what I was expecting. Nevertheless, it was a large piece of fish, which was a plus. My wife had the steak and crab legs. She absolutely was pleased with her meal, so that's all that mattered to me. My meal choice came with a dessert option. Unfortunately, I was told there wasn't any in stock when I was packing my to go box. The good part was, I was full, so I didn't need the cake anyway, and it was no big deal. I just felt you should be aware of the stock because ppl will order it and look forward to receiving it. The hostess came by to check on us during the meal. The waitress wasn't that anxious to come around, I guess. In closing, she did perk up when it became time to pull out my wallet interestingly. The most she had to say was when the bill was being paid? Yeah.. So there you have it. It's not my worst experience, also not the most favorable fish.. It's about...
Read moreWhere should I start? Came in and the host Will was pleasant and got us seated quickly which was the best part of dinner.
Sat down and was sitting for almost 18 min before the server came over. When she did she didn't bother to give her name. All she did was as were we ready to order which we had to ask her name which she said was Karen. She brought bread over and took our drink order which took another 15 min to get along with water. After she brought the drinks we order and that took over 35 min to bring. Never once coming over saying anything about why it was taking so long to bring our entrées.
Once entrées comes from the people in the back Karen never came over to check on us to see if everything was OK. She was walking around talking to other servers which they were doing their job but I have no idea what she was doing because we go no attention from her. While we were eating I asked for more scampi since I ordered the Endless shrimp and that took another 20 min which at that point I was ready to go so we just asked for containers so we could go and even then she was walking around and finally brought us the containers. We asked her while she was there to bring the check because we was worried she would disappear again and not be seen for another 30 min. Once she brought the check we paid and waited for her to bring it back so we could sign the check and get out of there.
I like Red Lobster but Karen needs to be retrained or fired because she's not a good host.
Choose Red Lobster at your own risk of poor service. I hope if management reads this they will take action and grt...
