This establishment is run by an incredibly nice staff. I had messed up my order over the phone and tried to call back to fix the issue, but because they’re so popular, the phone was consistently busy! When I arrived in person to pick up my order, I was hesitant to mention the issue but did so anyway. Not only did they resolve the problem immediately, but they then insisted on giving me the dish I accidentally ordered for free! I did not want to take it as I felt bad for messing up the order and having them make another dish as a replacement, but they insisted and just said to make sure I know my order the next time I call, so I was like that’s fair 🤣 but anyway, very nice people and the food was good! Tried China Cafe in Iselin for a quick takeout. Called ahead and placed the order — they had it ready in just 10-15 minutes, which was impressive. I ordered the General Tso Tofu and a soup. The soup was actually pretty good, but the tofu dish was underwhelming. Despite asking for it to be spicy, it came out very sweet — more like a dessert than a main course. Also, the price felt steep — around $23–25 for tofu is on the higher end, especially when compared to other similar spots.

Comfort food at reasonable prices. Very popular place for takeaway. The phone doesn't stop ringing and the staff (I guess family run restaurant) cope very well, not only to the endless orders but also fast and efficient to myself, ordering at the cashier. I ordered two dishes and both had quantity, quality and taste for the price. Outside the frantic kitchen, a few indoor tables and some outside offering a casual meal.
