El Ranchito Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Woodbridge Township

I placed an order for takeout on the phone, the Women gave attitude the whole time I was trying to order. When I got home, I realized that my order was wrong. I ordered a quesadilla (barbacoa) and they gave me a regular (res) one. I called to tell them and they told me i had to wait and come back with the food to correct my order. Mind you I live 15 minutes from the place. I got there and she didn’t seem to care much. I walk out with my “correct” order and she comes from the side door to tell me she didn’t put sauce in the bag(the two sauces and pico de gallo come with the meal) I got to my car opened up the container and all I see is a thrown and messy quesadilla with no pico de gallo. I had to walk all the way back to tell her again my order was messed up. She didn’t believe there was no pico de gallo and asked the cook. I then received a wrapped up leaking tinfoil with pico de gallo. Overall, the lack of attention and poor customer service is very disappointing. My first and last time here. Me and my husband decided to try this place out other then our usual spot in rahway. We ordered guacamole and the dip that comes with the meal as we are waiting for our meal we asked for more chips to finish our guacamole and she said it would be a dollar for the chips mind you there was barely anything in the basket. And she said that an order of chips did not come with the guacamole. I hate cheap restaurants. Terrible experience. They messed up my order. I asked for rice and beans with my food, instead got fries with some and nothing on the others. Cheese enchiladas were perhaps the worst I have ever had (I threw them away uneaten). I called to complain and was told that the person taking the order did not speak English well so I should be more understanding. They insisted I fish the food out of the garbage and return it or they would not refund me. They asked "how do we know you are telling the truth?" (So they are calling me a liar.... nice.)
