Used to love Wendy’s.. I hardly eat fast food so I don’t go often but I immediately regretted it. The website kept having an error message that said “oops” so I had to order when I got there. Would have went to chick Fila (not a huge fan of any fast food but..) they were closed as it was Sunday. First, the girl taking my order didn’t even let me finish what I was saying before abruptly cutting me off. Then the guy at the window wasn’t friendly at all. My 8 year old niece who got a kid’s meal immediately noticed how super tiny the frosty with her meal was (rip off). Then it’s a kid’s meal and the cup wasn’t kid friendly (had no hole or a place to actually drink/eat the frosty) so either it would melt by the time we got home or the frosty would be all over the car (stupid execution for a kid’s meal) from having to remove the entire lid to eat it. Then my “frostychino” (however you spell it) was like regular coffee with cream that I could have easily made at home. I thought given the name it had actual frosty in it and was similar to Chick Fila’s frosted coffee, which I love, or a Frappuccino. I watched them make it after I asked to have actual frosty in it and they just added more vanilla cream. Umm so again it’s over priced coffee (nothing more, nothing less). It’s a huge disappointment. I was literally about to go to chick Fila after here to get the frosted coffee because it was a let down, but then remembered it was closed due to it being Sunday. Wendy’s needs to do better. Now I know why on a Sunday night at dinner time on a major busy road there is practically no line of cars. Wendy’s should think more about what they are serving and their overall service. The drive through was fast so they get credit for that and the sandwiches were good, although I had to add my own marinara sauce to the Italian mozzarella sandwich. Fries were lacking, but I hooked them up at home by reheating them in the air fryer and adding some salt and pepper. Read moreI order in Wendy. 2 chicken crispy 4for4, I told the drive thru women that the 2 orders were same, and she doesn't listen, her name is Leyda, and she was mad so she raised her voice, she said I didnt listen, but when she ask me about the drinks,I told her I wanted 2 orange sodas and no ice and when I saw the screen it said Hi-c orange ,and i told her that i wanted orange soda not Hi-c orange and when I went to the second window to pick up my order she was giving me Hi-c orange and I told her no that I wanted orange soda not Hi-c and no ice and she acted like she change the drink She gave me the new drinks but then I ask her again if the the drinks were orange sodas and she said YES so then I took the order and on my way from Wendy's to my house and my kids told me that that wasn't orange soda but Hi-c orange so I had to drive back to Wendy's to return the drinks I walked inside and ask the cashier 'Who was the woman at the drive thru who gave me the drinks and my order and she called the woman from the drive thru over and I told her I didn't tell you once but 4 times NO HI-C ORANGE but I wanted orange soda and she said Fanta soda orange or Hi-c and i told her i wanted Fanta and she was mad. She had a bad attitude, it seemed she had a bad day. My surprise was that the woman who took my order and gave it to me is the manager. her name is Leyda, really bad manager. A completely nothing professional manager, she was rude, arrogant attitude. I am paying for my food and I think I deserve a friendly treatment. That woman should not continue in that position, the true professionals leave their problems at home, and do not drag them to their place of work, if you had a bad day at home leave the problems there. Yesterday the line was wrapped around the store as always kn Saturdays because they choose to close one drive-thru lane. Normally as a food service driver they allow us to walk up to the window to collect the order since they are prepared, and we are not ordering food just picking up. YESTERDAY AN EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEE TOLD US WE HAD TO WAIT IN THE 25 MINUTE LINE TO PICK UP THE ORDER. WHEN WE GOT TO THE ORDER AREA ALL HE SAID WAS DRIVE TO THE WINDOW. SO I CALMLY ASKED WHY WE HAD TO WAIT IF WE JUST HAD TO DRIVE TO THE WINDOW. HE SAID TO ME BECAUSE U HAVE TO WAIT. I SAID BUT THE ORDER IS SITTING AND GETTING COLD AND IS PREPARED. OMAR WHO CLAIMED TO BE THE MANAGER SHUT THE WINDOW IN MY FACE , BUT HAD REOPEN BECAUSE HE DIDNT GIVE ME THE CUSTOMER DRINKS. I THEN HONKED THE HORN AND ASKED FOR THE GENERAL MANGER NUMBER. HE SAID SOMETHING ABOUT ME IN SPANISH. HE DID NOT KNOW MY SPANISH FIANCE WAS IN THE CAR AND HIS COMMENT MADE MY FIANCE LIVID. WHEN I ASKED FOR THE NUMBER THEY GAVE ME AN 848 NUMBER AND ADVISED THAT I CALLED NOW. IT WAS 10:30 AT NIGHT?!... I SAID THANK YOU BUT I WILL CALL THE STORE DURING BUSINESS HOURS. I ADVISE ALL DELIVERY DRIVERS AND PATRONS TO EAT AND ORDER ELSEWHERE. No one should ever disrespect a customer who has a question. Or speak about them in another language assuming that they won't be able to understand or know what is being said. I will be following up Monday...
