I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience genuinely deserves it. From the moment I walked into the restaurant, I knew I was in for something special. The space was beautiful – modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. It felt welcoming but elevated, and it immediately set the tone for the night.
The food was absolutely incredible. Every dish was full of flavor and clearly made with care. Nothing was undercooked or rushed, and the portions were generous without feeling overwhelming. You could tell that whoever’s in the kitchen knows exactly what they’re doing – it was authentic, rich, and seriously satisfying.
What really stood out to me, though, was the environment. The music, the people, the energy – it all came together in a way that felt alive. Sitting there, enjoying the food and just observing everyone around me enjoying their own moments and conversations, it reminded me how powerful food and culture can be when shared like this. It wasn’t just a meal, it was an experience.
And the coffee? Honestly, one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Bold, smooth, and full of flavor. It wrapped the whole experience up perfectly.
The service was another highlight. The staff were so kind, attentive without being overbearing, and they made sure I had everything I needed. You could tell they actually cared – about the food, about the people, about the entire vibe they were creating.
This place isn’t just a restaurant – it’s a celebration of culture, hospitality, and great food. I left full, happy, and genuinely grateful I got to experience it. I’ll definitely be back – and I’ll be bringing people with me. Let the pictures...

Read moreThis restaurant used to be my favorite. Keep in mind that all reviews prior to Mine are for the old establishment. As of three weeks ago today; This business has since acquired new owners. The restaurant is drastically different. From the internal atmosphere, to prices, & tastes on the menu; everything is different. Now I’m open to change sometimes but I will say after my experience I will not ever be coming back here. I just came from out of town and was really craving my favorite Ethiopian food. You can imagine my surprise when I found out the business had been sold. The food I was served is definitely not what I was craving overseas. The food is not bad per se, it’s just not up to the standards Abugida (the previous owner’s restaurant) has set for me. They served me frozen cold sambusas that I had to send back and still was overcharged by their new standard price. The Shiro recipe is new and practically inedible, I didn’t even touch that. The food is just meh now. I really wish the old owners didn’t sell. I am greatly disappointed with my experience in the new establishment :( hopefully soon they can make some corrections & I may give them a chance again but as of right now, it’s a...
