I have been sitting, polishing this grudge for literal years. One night, a couple years back, my wife and I stopped by here to get dinner. We were limited on funds, a bit.
They were doing a limited promotion of some sort of spicy buffalo sort of chicken tenders and that's what I ordered. But they told me that they were out of that, and only had regular chicken tenders.
So I asked 'em if they could dip my tenders in buffalo sauce, and they told me that they had to charge me a dollar per dipped piece. Well, I thought to myself, that sucks, but hey, I'll get two pieces dipped, because that's what I could afford, and then I'll just dip the other two pieces in the sauce runoff from the dipped ones.
My disappointment at what I received was legendary. These people charged me a dollar per piece to dip these chicken tenders and they didn't even submerge the chicken. The "dipped" pieces had less than half of the piece dipped, the bottom of the dipped tenders and most of the side of it was completely dry.
There was absolutely no way there was gonna be any sauce runoff to dip my other pieces in. They didn't even give me a whole tender's worth of dip between the two I paid extra for.
I was so disappointed and felt valued so little by this KFC branch that I've never been back. That night, we went across the street to the Dairy Queen and got a couple little plastic buckets of buffalo sauce for FREE and that sealed the deal on this grudge.
And I been sitting here for years, telling people about this experience and how undervalued and ripped off I felt as a customer. Chargin' me a dollar to dip my tenders and not even dip the whole piece.... Now I'mma finally put it into a review, it's time now.
Hope y'all enjoyed that two dollars you...
Read moreI've been going to this particular KFC for approximately three decades. Now. It's the closest one to where I live. I used to love getting their barbecue chicken but they no longer carry it. I gave it a one star for the atmosphere because the place is nasty. Your staff could definitely use a course on how to keep the place clean. I understand that this is a greasy fast food restaurant but it's filthy from top to bottom.
The staff seems friendly enough and the food is mediocre at best. The prices have gone through the roof but that describes just about every other fast food restaurant out there.
I'm not sure how the restrooms are because I didn't take a chance on going in there.
Easy to get a truck in and out of if you have a trailer. As long as you're not trying to go through the drive-thru obviously.
Overall, I would say it's an average fast food restaurant with a higher than normal chance of getting botulism or e coli from the cleanliness of the joint. Good luck holding your bowels after...
Read moreOne star....shame on KFC. If you think you are putting honey on that biscuit, read the package. Celebrating 70 of business with a business decsion to use 93% high fructose corn syrup and 7% honey (honey FLAVORED Sauce). No more. To add when I passed on my displeasure of seeing flavored syrup to management I was directed to state my grievance to the Corporate site. When asked doesn't Corporate KFC listen to local chain and franchise management I was told no, please direct customer complaint s to corporate KFC. SOOOOO, Corporate KFC loves the money to come in but views their management and franchisee stores as minions. This was my last visit to this 70 year old business that no longer cares of it's customers concerns and health so long as the dollars...
