I work in the same strip center as this Woodbury location, so I visit them often on my lunch break. I get great service from the staff that works on a regular basis. Today I stopped in and was greeted by a gal with short, black hair who was talking on her cellphone, not even wearing the normal Leeann Chin uniform I see all the other associates wear. She eventually helped me after hanging up her cell phone, gave me rude service when I asked to do a smaller portioned sized plate, and walked away at the register after swiping my card, not even handing me my food. She walked away to be with an associate who I normally see working and was rude to him. I get amazing service from the people who work there when I normally go in, they are nice, im always greeted with a smile with the best customer service I’ve received from any food chain. Im upset to see such a grump of a person work at this location. I had better expectations in...
Read moreThe food was warm and fairly fresh! The chicken wing appetizer was good with a crunchy crust, but they are still too salty. If they could simply reformulate the recipe with a touch less salty flavor, they would be outstanding. The Peking Chicken used to have more red peppers, but for some reason, they have taken it down to one or two small pieces per serving??? Really?
I find the server staff here always seem to be cranky, but you only see them for a few minutes, so I can handle that. I think it is because they are usually understaffed. Just corporations trying to make more profits by keeping staffing to a minimum. Once again, if the food is hot and fresh, you only have to be in there, five minutes!
Overall, I love Leeann Chin for a quick pick-up of Asia Cuisine. The flavor and quality are always better than Panda Expess. The prices are still fairly reasonable compared to most restaurants, since...
Read moreI usually like Leeann Chin. Everything looked good. Looks can be deceiving. I chose Chin Dynasty with fried rice. SEASEME CHICKEN, ended up mostly breading and a few chunks of chicken in a sticky sauce. CASHEW CHECKEN, the celery and the seasoned sauce were good, but the chicken tasted of shrimp. The fried rice was kinda slick like too much oil and not a hot enough pan. The cream cheese wonton were really good, just not very hot. Never offered a beverage, nor a fortune cookie, and my dine in tray and table were both so sticky, I had to go get more napkins. It was not the time of day as the diner crowd was coming in at 5:20pm. Suggestions, send the cafeteria trays thru the dishwasher, and get a fresh bucket of water when cleaning tables. This will not be my last visit to Leeann Chins, just this location, they really tripped up their game, at least ask if I want a beverage...
