Served undercooked and raw burger. The minnesota department of health has been notified.
I picked up an online order on 7/25. I took several bites of my burger before realizing the burger was severely undercooked and raw in some places. This is deeply concerning as I am 33 weeks pregnant.
I drove back to MyBurger and spoke with Justin who agreed the burger was not cooked properly, even a customer in line said "that's rare". He refunded my order and chalked it up to human error.
I was deeply concerned with what I observed from the cooks when I was there too. Too many people in the kitchen, none wearing hairnets and they were not using meat thermometers. Of course there is human error when no precautions are being taken!
Now I have to monitor myself and unborn child for illness. If anything comes of this, MyBurger will be held responsible for this "human error" aka negligence. If food safety is important to you think twice before eating here and cut your burgers in half to make sure they are cooked...
Read moreWe visited during the first day of their public Grand Opening. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Our food was delivered quickly. We had been to other My Burger locations before but it had been many years.
We ordered two of the standard burgers on the menu - Original & California. The Original was $10 and the California was $13. The burgers come with fries. For a few dollars more, you can have fancier burgers with bacon, jalapenos, etc. They also have a "Burger of the Month", often featuring irregular burger toppings. We thought our burgers were delicious and tasted fresh. We would likely try the Cajun fries next time because we don't recall eating those at previous locations.
The quality of the burgers is as good, if not better, than most sit-down restaurants in Woodbury and a few dollars cheaper. I'd recommend My Burger, and we plan on returning the next time we're in the mood...
Read moreI honestly can't find a single bad thing to say about My Burger. From the moment we walked in, everyone greeted us with smiles and made us feel welcome. They were patient, too, knowing it was our first time there. The decor had that classic burger joint vibe, and it was good because it made having meal there a lot more enjoyable.
My wife went with the July Burger of the Month with onion rings, while I ordered my favorite, the turkey burger, however this time adding jerk fries on the side. The fries were seasoned just right, with just enough kick from the jerk spice, and my burger was delicious as always.
While we were eating, we had the chance to meet the corporate chef who creates the different menu items. He shared some history about my burger, and it made our visit even more enjoyable.
It's great to have a burger joint so close to home that serves a turkey burger worth coming back for. We'll definitely...
