My family eats/orders at this location (Woodbury) on average 2-3 times a month. Since COVID (Mid March) it has been really been hit or miss on whether we get all our items or not because sometimes it can ruin meals/orders especially for kids. For example, for dinner yesterday, I ordered the group soup and decided to pick chips as my sides instead of the french bread and two sandwiches. We received 3 bags of chips instead of the 6 that should've came with the order. No mention from the person bringing out the food, nothing written on the receipt.
Our previous order for lunch was similar (2 sandwiches with chips, a group soup (with bread). We received our 4 pieces of bread but NO CHIPS. They also only gave us utensils for one person (spoon, fork, butter knife) and NO soup bowls. So we had to stop by a gas station to buy spoons and paper bowls. These were just two examples this week.
I've been annoyed and had been against ordering from here but my wife really likes their soups. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have ordered due to past issues like these (getting bread when my kids wanted chips, sometimes not getting enough utensils, many times not even getting a soup ladle and having to make a mess using the regular spoon or pouring it, etc.).
I'll probably stop tipping since it's "not expected" and they don't care to get me the right and...
Read morePanera is always my number one spot for lunch; however, this location is not the best. They often mess up orders, and I've seen workers being rude to customers.
I decided to write a review here because I had the most bizarre restaurant experience ever.
I ordered You Pick Two with Thai Salad that I order often. The salad looked like it had about 2/3 of a regular amount of lettuce. I went back to the counter and asked if I could have some lettuce added to my salad.
The person who worked there said that I got the right amount of lettuce and if I needed more, there would be an extra charge. I agreed to pay (although I know Panera doesn't charge for extra lettuce), then I was told that it was not possible to charge me extra since the salad was already purchased, so he just told me he would not give me any lettuce. It was almost comical: "NO LETTUCE FOR YOU!!!" (watch the Seinfeld Soup Nazi episode is you don't know what I'm referring to).
I asked if I could talk to the manager, and he said he was the manager. I asked for his card, he said he didn't have one. He said that his name was Seth. I'm not sure if he was truly the manage, but if he was, no wonder the place got so bad in the last couple of...
Read moreWe usually love Panera as a family with young kids because we can sit down together, food has great quality, and it’s quick. Tonight our $55 meal for 3 people (infant didn’t need food-4th person) was very disappointing. My latte was Luke warm at best. My husband’s latte was 1/2 filled up in the to go cup. I ordered a bowl of the French onion soup and it had no mozzarella on top. I also have to add that the kids portion (1/2 sandwich) is the same size as an adult 1/2 size sandwich. So super tall and there is no way they can chomp down on it. I would love it if they could offer actual kid size sandwiches versus stacking them so tall. My son got the Turkey blt sandwich and there were huge chucks of Turkey, not even appealing to eat to me. The prices are becoming expensive for the lack of quality. The staff had ear buds in their ears and there was poor customer service (no friendliness or smiles). Just seemed like they didn’t want to be there. Very disappointing. We really do not want to go to Cafe Zupas but I feel that if the quality of Panera is going to be like this now, we may have to go to Cafe zupas for that sit down, quick, good quality...
