Great pizza, incredibly poor ability to have it ready on time. We’ve had at least half a dozen online orders that were 10-15+ minutes late. So why don’t we just order it to be ready 10 minutes earlier than we need? Because this type of pizza doesn’t retain its heat very well, so on those occasions they have it ready on time it just sits there getting cold.
We also often pick up pizza from Red’s Savoy and Punch on the same night as half the family prefers one and half prefers the other. Red’s is always ready when promised, but then gets cold out in our car while we wait 10-15 minutes longer than we should have to for Punch which can’t seem to figure out how to have a pizza ready on time even we we order it hours in advance online.
EDIT: adding a star based on the great response from Punch to both work on resolving the core issue and offering the coupon to “make it right”. Really appreciate this and if the core issue gets resolved I will look to come back to this review and make it 5 stars.
EDIT 2: bumping to 5 stars as they seemed to have resolved the core issue. Our orders have now been consistently ready on time. Likewise the pizza stone was a great suggestion which we use for heating leftover pizza that does a...
Read moreI've never had Neapolitan style pizza before, so this was an exciting experience for me! I chose to give this place a try purely due to the fact that they have "Eggplant" as a topping on one of their pizzas. And this girl LOVES eggplant on her pizza!
I ordered: BORGATA | $14.00 Sun-dried tomato, goat cheese, eggplant, saracene olive, basil
And my partner ordered: MAXIMUS | $12.50 Pepperoni, mushroom, saracene olive, cracked red pepper, oregano
I really did enjoy my pizza, and so did my partner. My only complaint is that I could hardly tell that there was eggplant on my pizza... but, to counteract that in the future, I'll just have to order extra!
The prices, for as simple and small as the pizzas are, seem a bit high to me. Especially considering my partner and I both ate an entire pizza to ourselves... but maybe that just means we love to eat :) But for real, I think they are about the size of a Personal Pizza, maybe a touch bigger.
Ultimately, I'd go again. BUT, if I'm wanting a big pizza to share... this is NOT the place. And I'd honestly save money going somewhere else and be much...
Read moreIf you're truly a fan of all things pizza you'll never forgive yourself for not trying Punch Pizza. Fast and delicious. This location is easy to find and navigate to. Parking is fine as the stripmall has ample parking. Smooth sailing for return patrons but first time visitors beware. My first time was rather stressful trying to figure out what pizzas I wanted to try. Stressful because it's line ordering, just like any other fast food joint. By the time you're up if you don't know what you want you'll have a packed line of "hangry" patrons standing behind you. County jailhouse survivors know to avoid getting shanked with a shiv but do you? If not I recommend bring a well learned Punch Pizza loving friend or to go online to their website and browse the menu, having a solid idea of what you want to order prior to arriving inside. Don't expect Value Menu pricing here. You're paying for a taste of premium neapolitan pizza. It is served hot, fresh, and fast. What it is NOT is Chicago style deep-dish. So come with an open mind and an open wallet. The Krav Maga...
