The food is always fabulous here. But with that being said- the business flow needs serious attention. As a customer, when I order at the beginning of the line, I shouldn't have to remember how and what I ordered and repeat it again to the cashier. And watching the cashier struggle to accurately find the right food is so painful and I feel horrible for them. The person who made the sandwich yells what it is when they put it on the counter but the cashier is not able to be pay attention to that AND ring up the customers. Today, it was so busy and I watched 3 sandwiches and 1 salad (half vs whole) get handed out incorrectly (including my sandwich which went out to someone who ordered a different sandwich but the cashier couldn't tell what kimd of sandwich it was so she obviously guessed wrongly). When it came time for me to pay, of course mine had to be made again because it actually got handed to someone else. That person's sandwich was still up on the counter now being thrown away- and they are now on their way home with an incorrect sandwich. It would run so much smoother if the person taking the order printed out the order ticket and stuck it on a tray and then as the food is made, the staff would be able to properly place the right food on the tray accordingly and the chaos of everyone running around could be eliminated and the wrong food wouldn't be handed out. Maybe even put a customer name on that order ticket so when the customer gets to the register, they can say their name rather than having to remember and repeat their entire order. Every time I go there it pains me to watch the...
Read moreFirst and foremost we walked in and weren’t greeted. Then I have a group of 4 and one child so we get the pick 2 for each of us and a kids meal. 2 of the people in my party have never been to this place before and had no idea what to get. They’re weren’t friendly when it came to me having multiple orders. I had mine, my sons and my husbands. We’re just rude and not caring about the fact that I needed some time to figure out what everyone was getting. I felt very very rushed and there was no one behind me. My mother and little brother were also with us. The two who didn’t know what to get since they’d never been there before. My little brother has autism and getting him to pick new things is never easy and she also felt very disrespected when ordering. Then at the end of all of it I was paying for everything and they charged me an extra meal in which I brought up to the shift lead and he then voided my whole transaction and made me pay for it again in which wasn’t a big deal for me because I had the money to do it but now I have a charge pending for $73 and for $61. Very very inconvenient. I brought up my concerns of how my party was treated and all I got was I’m sorry that’s not appropriate I’ll talk to the correct people. Nothing to try and correct it. Will be also writing to their corporate team about all of this. Anyone who spends any money there shouldn’t be treated like this. This isn’t customer service. Not to mention this is not the first time this has happened to me at this location. Anyone wanting lunch or dinner...
Read moreI wanted to try Zupas for the first time and I chose the delivery option. I got a lg tomato basil soup, lg lobster bisque and strawberry creme brule dessert. The food arrived promptly and the soup was hot. Excellent! The tomato basil soup was very tasty. Unfortunately things went downhill from there. The $10+ lobster bisque described as "packed with lobster and vegetables" was 99.8% broth. I wasnt expecting huge chunks of lobster but I could literally fit all the solids of the large size bisque soup in ONE spoonful. Extremely disappointing especially for the price! There were no rolls with the soups. The complimentary chocolate covered strawberries were small and dried up. The first rule of restaurant service - If you don't have a quality product to offer, don't offer it, complimentary or otherwise. Being my first order from Zupas I called the restaurant and asked them if I should have received rolls with the soups. They said yes, but they were out of them today. Is that poor inventory management? The roll shortage was not communicated with my order, I had to call to find out. I expressed my concern about the lobster bisque. The person said they would tell the manager as the morning crew makes the soup. Either the person dishing up the soup did not stir it before serving, quality checking is nonexistent, the bisque recipe is poor, the soup description is way off and/or the price is too high. Disappointing any way you slurp...
