When we walked in it was about 7:20pm. When we said we wanted to dine-in the lady said, “we close at 8pm. Will you be done before then?” I said yes we should be. 2 other tables came in after and they were never asked that question. When we were being served, we were rushed. I didn’t get to finish ordering because the server TOOK the menu from me. I let it go because I figured it was language barrier. Note that I am Asian and I am very relateable to elders facing language barrier prejudice in this country. The entire time she was so rude to us but I kept letting it go because I kept thinking “language barrier” until I saw how she treated all of the other customers. She was soooo nice and patient with them. Checked on them. Refilled their drinks. I’m 24 but I look 16. And my brother looked 16 too. We get bad service every now and then from people who think we won’t tip. But I also want to add that our food was MICROWAVED LEFTOVERS. Even our RICE. It was cold. I ordered an entree and never received the soup, egg rolls, or fried rice with my meal. I got white rice and nothing else. I asked for a second beer and she was mad. She snatched my drink from me before I finished it. Hand on the top. I have been here before and had excellent Service but this particular server was the second worse server I’ve ever had in my entire life. She cut me off every time I spoke and would not give me the chance to ask for anything, ever. I didn’t get the food that came with my entree. And she refused to let me see my ITEMIZED RECEIPT. She held on to it in her hand and asked if I was paying cash or card. I gave her my card. I realized she didn’t bring me my receipt at all so I asked for it and She brought back the order she wrote down instead. I told her that wasn’t a receipt and she argued that it was. So I tipped $1.06. I am a generous tipper but I will not tip to prove that I’m a tipper. We even cleaned the entire table for her. But she was...
Read moreI recently placed a pick up order for shrimp fried rice. I went to the restaurant, picked up my order only to find that they gave me chicken fried rice instead. Instead of apologizing and making things right, they flat out, told me that I was lying and that I placed the order wrong. So I went back the second time and picked up the shrimp fried rice order. When I brought that order home, it was full of eggshells. So I decided to give Yang’s a call back and speak with the manager. The manager was rude, refused to give me my refund back, pretty much told me I was a liar and I did not deserve their business. I have frequently patronized Yang’s since 1989. In the past, I have recommended other people try their food. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. The manager was yelling , irate, and very unprofessional. I will never buy anything from this restaurant again. The service was awful and the food is not the way it used to be. The manager did not care about inconveniencing me a third time. She wanted me to make a third trip to bring the food back and that was the only way she would refund me my money back. She hung up on me when I called her the first time. Then I called her back again. There was no Apology volunteered. I had to force an apology from them When I went back the second time to get the right food I ordered. That apology was fake. Eat there at your own risk. I should have read the other reviews before deciding to order from this place. If I could give a...
Read moreUnfortunately- The Sesame chicken when cooked right does taste amazing. I brought my parents here to experience the yummy chicken (hoping). I have never dined in and i probably will never be back. We came to dine in, the dining room had 3 tables occupied the rest were vacant. There was a long line of to go orders. We had dropped my mom off at the door and when we finally parked and I finally finished doddling and sorting my documents from one bag to another and choosing which to bring in, we finally came in the door and my mother has not even been helped yet. It was like 15 minutes before i made it into the restaurant. So I looked around to ask anyone anything and no one was around so i went to the dining area and asked a server if we can seat ourselves. She said yes anywhere. So we sit down. Then we immediately get asked by a woman i have seen there everytime I go who works the counter often, she says we cannot sit there and can we sit in a booth. Umm No thanks. She says these big tables are reserved for larger groups- No one is here? Its not packed at all in the dining area and we were just told we could sit anywhere. We have tons of paperwork to go through while our food is being prepared. ... Nope all the big ones are reserved. Okay Bye. So we left and we went to HUNAN BUFFET and picked whatever table we wanted and enjoyed their food... not the best but its okay i was seated immediately and was never treated like a problem. I will not be back be...
