TL;DR: childhood dream come true of just throwing things together to see if it tastes good.
Parking: limited storefront pull-in parking (about 4 cars) along a local road. Be careful backing out because you need to back into the road to exit.
Atmosphere: very mini mart / gas station like feel inside. Limited seating.
Menu: There is a picture menu of food items on the left wall when you enter, the drink/fruit cup menu is hanging above the cash register. A bit pricey -- about $10 for a drink or fruit cup and prices have increased since they opened.
Mangonada: think mango sorbet with mango chunks and cajun seasoning. It's a sweet/tangy/spicy combo. The spice adds a nice kick to the mix and is easily canceled out with the cold from the sorbet or the mango chunks. The mango chunks were a tad on the stringy side but since they were cut into chunks, they weren't too bad and didn't get stuck in my teeth. FYI, the straw that it comes with looks like a giant pasta tube but it is indeed a straw. Can confirm, not edible haha -- but the stuff play doughed onto the straw is edible, it's sweet/sour and chewy.
I didn't order any food but all menu items look like experimental childhood flavor combos that I'm sure were mastered and taste great. I have to come back and try some...

I'm sooooo happy I stopped by to check it out, as they have all the Mexican snacks I grew up with! I went with my partner, and we enjoyed everything!!! We had several of the menu items, and they did not disappoint! Tosticevche, chicharron preparado, the eggnog gelatin, and gomas watermelon rings. The woman running it was AWESOME, watching her set everything just made my mouth salivate, we've finished our food, and we are still salivating about how good the snacks are. We will definitely frequent this spot more, now that I know they have all my favorite Mexican snacks and...
Read moreIf you are looking for Authentic Mexican ice creams, snacks and candy look no further. This place has the best Mexican comfort food and desserts. Not even East San Jose, CA had these kinds of selections available. We’re on a Bike Tour for Labor Day and we saw this on our way to the Hotel. You won’t be disappointed. Exceptional food and service.
The Chicharrón Preparado very light salad dish not to heavy. The diced pork skin gave a balanced vinegar/salty flavor to the salad that I really enjoyed.
My brother had the Elote Corn On Cob. That was so tasty!! Highly recommend. This is a great stop if you are doing a Bike Tour and need a refresher snack,...
