Blueberry Beads — Local services in Woodinville

I’m unhappy with the fact that I can’t leave a lower number for my review. My girlfriend and I were at your store yesterday (6-9-24). We drove over an hour and a half to get to your store because you had a particular bead that my girlfriend was looking for. I know absolutely nothing about beading but what I was witnessing as far as customer service towards my girlfriend was in my mind completely unacceptable! The two employees acted like she wasn’t even there and could care less about trying to help her. They couldn’t even get off their chairs to even TRY. All they did was make her feel stupid about not knowing where a particular bead was. They were too interested in pandora and who was singing a song that was playing at the time. From the looks of the place being entirely empty, with the exception of us, one would think they would do everything in their power to make you feel welcome and act like they gave a damn. I know exactly what she said in her review and I know what her response was. It REALLY upset me when she was told (by the owner) that she caught them on a “bad day” like it was HER FAULT and also from a comment that one of them made in the regards of a bench that should be put in for the “men” to sit on. I am so thankful that we have a very nice, locally owned, polymer clay shop in the area because I would rather support small business than national chain stores. They have a wide variety of beads in the store and they carry leading brands of polymer clays. Note that they only have limited polymer clays displayed in the store due to limited space but please check there website and you will see that they have huge selections of polymer clay and tools. The prices are very reasonable and competitive to a big chain craft store. The staff were very helpful and very patient with my semi-complicated requests. Blueberry Beads will be my go-to clay supply source from now on and I am willing to drive one hour round trip to support the shop and meet such kind people (and their beautiful little dog, Tessa??) It's nice that they have off street parking too!).

Hint for my friends and family who randomly found this review and don't know what to get me for Christmas/birthday/or just because present : the store sells gift cards...

I was unbelievably disappointed with the customer service that did not happen during my visit to this store! I was greeted, but when looking for my item & asking for help all I recieved was short answers & the owner would not even get up out of her chair to assist me! I even expressed in several ways the assistance I needed , showed pictures of the color & item I was seeking & actually said " this is why I'm asking for your help" and still was ignored & treated like I was disturbing their discussion about music! Had I not needed the color of beads I was looking for and drove 90 minutes to get there I would not have purchased 1 item! For a small business this store is horrible & clueless when it comes to customer service! I will not be returning & I feel sorry for anyone who has this experience as I did! I am one that loves to support small businesses, but in this case I can not! I will not even consider ordering online! In my entire lifetime I have never had this poor customer service. Hopefully one day...
