Went to Métier for a United Way fundraiser event. Cool geared themed decor and merch, lots of options for different beers and even cider or wine on offer. We heard the owner speak and he shared that Black owned brewies comprise only 1% of those in the U.S. He acts with intention to support his community as evidenced by the mission statement on the wall. Not only does he have a quality product, but he's doing good in the community. One of the beers supports the Major Taylor Project which helps kids learn to ride bikes via Cascade Bikes and prepares them to ride the Seattle to Portland. Kudos to Rodney Hines on being a great community champion. Excited to hear he has more locations opening on the Seattle side! Woodinville location is in a warehouse district with free parking close to 522 exit off 405. Highly recommend supporting Métier...
Read moreService is a 5 star, friendly and willing to help you discover the beer you want. Food is unique, we had a salmon pretzel and a deep fried hot dog. The salmon pretzel was a bit of a let down because I couldn't taste the salmon flavor, which is sprinkled on top. The pretzel was soft and well made but fairly small. The deep fried hot dog was a small piece of sausage packed inside a fluffy pastry fried with panko bread crumbs from what I could tell. Best way to describe it would be maybe a mix of a churro and a corn dog. I enjoyed this a lot but I wish there was a thicker sausage in it.
Overall, a decent experience but nothing made me soo excited that I want to come back before trying some surrounding...
Read moreMetier is THE best craft brewery I've found in Washington, hands down. Every single beer is carefully crafted and distinctly Northwest-style. Their beer hall is great for gatherings of all sizes (I think they even do private events), it's kid-friendly AND dog-friendly, and they sometimes have live local music. What I like best about this place is their strong moral compass, when they could be just like every other brewery. Metier publicly values their partnerships with women-owned and minority-owned vendors, and they seem to actively support a few charitable organizations. All in all, terrific beer, a great vibe, and the most noble of missions are all found at Metier....
