So we tried this place right before it closed for its move. What a horrible feeling to find the best teriyaki place ever, and then not know if it will reopen. Usually when we find a new teriyaki place, we get beef and chicken yakisoba and katsu. Most teriyaki places are better with their chicken or beef, and katsu gives a glimpse of the quality and freshness. When we walked in, the smell told us their beef would be good. Exactly how I like it-- sweet crisped bbq, perfect sauce. Katsu lost out in favor of more beef. We had the teriyaki beef, chicken yakisoba and beef yakisoba. Not a surprise-- the beef was perfect. Big surprise-- the chicken was also the best ever. Biggest surprise-- the yakisoba would have been incredible even without meat. Many yakisobas have pea pods, a shred of carrot or two, and green onion. This one was veggie loaded- the kind of veggies that tasted so good our youngest visitors chowed down. pea pods, onions, green onions, sweet potato, carrots, and the most flavorful noodles ever. Hoping they reopen soon at their new location, because I need this...
Read moreI had the veggie stir fry and it was good. Big portion with steamed rice. The meal also came with free green tea and egg flower soup. To give 5 stars, the restaurant would have to use a larger variety of Vegetables in the stir-fry. These are pretty cheap ingredients you can find in any teriyaki restaurant.
Tried the chicken teriyaki today. It's good but the restaurant definitely uses cheap ingredients. The "salad" was ONLY iceberg lettuce and dressing. The meal came out about 1 minute after I ordered which seems like the food was already prepared beforehand. There is definitely a high upcharge here. The rice is very well-made.
Ordered the veggie Yakisoba. It's a little oily but tastes great. It seems that the food here consistently tastes good. Dining in is definitely a better value than taking out since you get unlimited Jasmine green tea and also a cup of either miso soup or egg flower soup. Very nice and quick...
Read moreI was on a cross country motorcycle trip when I stumbled by this golden restaurant by accident and had the best meal in my life. I've have food from all over the country and hands down this was the best. the staff is so nice. while sitting eating there delicious food I could hear people who lived in the town talk to the waitress as if they were all family. that's the amazing hospitality they offer. the meals themselves are huge and not expensive at all. all quality ingredients too. but the real kicker about the restaurant was that after I left and was 2 days out in Idaho I found myself un able to belive my experience there and the goodness of the food and drove all the way back to there little town just so I could have another teriyaki beef plate. The whole experience was so amazing it literally caused me to drive non stop for 2 days to come back to have more. I wish this restaurant was in home town. Hell I'd wish they were all over the...
