If you’re anywhere near this hotdog and burger stand and don’t stop—you’re seriously doing yourself a disservice. This place is the definition of a hidden gem. The hotdogs are top-tier: juicy with that perfect snap, nestled in toasted buns and loaded with creative, flavorful toppings. Think grilled onions, spicy aioli, mango salsa—yes, it’s that kind of party. And the burgers? Outrageous. Thick, perfectly seared patties with melty cheese, fresh toppings, and buns that somehow stay soft and strong. Whether you go classic or build your own Frankenstein creation, every bite hits. The crew here is friendly, fast, and clearly passionate about what they’re doing. Prices are more than fair for the quality.

Great concept/partnership with local hardware store. Symbiotic. Affordable. (Which means no eggs right now = 4*.) Friendly. 70’s music on a Saturday morning when most patrons are older. 😊 The most practical response I’ve seen to local hunger. Each magnet represents a meal purchased by a customer, to be redeemed by whomever needs it.

Awesome food + awesome people behind this awesome little food stand + they support our local animal shelter! Great all around and it’s awesome to have them in our town!

Mountain Dogz Eatery is exactly the kind of local treasure you hope to stumble upon while traveling. This adorable food cart hit the spot when we needed protein urgently.

What We Loved: Exceptionally fresh burgers – you can taste the quality ingredients Food made with obvious care and attention to detail Friendly owner who took time to chat (my small-town husband especially appreciated this personal touch)

The Vibe: ✓ Quaint, food cart with big flavor ✓ Perfect example of why supporting local businesses is worth it ✓ That rare find that makes you feel like a regular even as a first-time visitor

Final Thoughts: Don't let the modest setup fool you – this is top-notch casual dining. If we're ever back in the area, we'll absolutely be stopping by Mountain Dogz again. A true little gem that...

Mountain Dogz Eatery is absolutely amazing! Kyle, the owner, is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. He’s not only friendly and down to earth, but he also gives back to the community and supports TCRAS Animal Shelter, which says a lot about his character.

The food is so good — the hotdogs are delicious, the burgers are juicy, and the breakfast burritos and brats are all incredible. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Kyle always makes sure everyone feels welcome and taken care of, and his customer service is top notch.

If you haven’t been to Mountain Dogz Eatery yet, you’re missing out — it’s definitely...
