Wendy's — Restaurant in Woodridge

I would only give this review a one star, except the food was delicious. It took me three drive-throughs to get my order correct in the drive-through lane. I ordered a double hamburger and a strawberry lemonade. Because I am lactose intolerant, I ordered using the following dialog: "I would like a double hamburger with no cheese, ketchup, mustard, and pickles with no cheese. I would also like a strawberry lemonade." Sure enough, after I was given my order, the double hamburger had cheese, and they gave me a strawberry frosty. It took me another two drive-throughs to get the order correct. So, a total of three drive-throughs which is totally unacceptable. I told that to the manager who served me, "This is unacceptable," whereupon she said she was sorry. Again, if the food wasn't hot (the double hamburger) and delicious, they'd get one star.

Follow-up email from corporate with another apology. No more coupons for free meals because of my inconvenience. So no more sales from me at that location on Boughton Road in Woodridge. You blew it by poor service and miserable follow-up by...

It's been a few months since I last ordered food from this location, so figured I give them another chance to redeem themselves. So decided drive throw.

Seriously bad mistake this restaurant changed a bit even after new management and employees. It's the same old NASTY place as it was before. Ordered for my family the following entrees:

1 number 9 meal (grill chicken, large chilli, with onions) instead of fries and a small Dr pepper

1 number 6 meal (spicy chicken, regular fry and regular coke)

1 number 6 meal (spicy chicken, large chilli (onions, no cheese) and regular coke)

They didn't put any onions in either of the chilli, very little ice in the drinks, the fries were stone cold. The sandwiches barely had a tomato or lettuce on them. Let me not forget mention, it looked like someone smashed the bun after assembling the sandwiches.

I've been there a few times. They got my order wrong almost every time I went. One of the managers is very upbeat and positive and the other one acts like he doesn't want to be there. Maybe he was just having a bad day. I don't know if they're both are owners??? I go there because it's the closest place to my job site and I only have 30 minutes for lunch. The last time I got the giant junior bacon cheeseburger combo and I only got one patty of beef on my burger. Just one more example of bad service. Once I went and had repeatvmy order three times at the menu board and when I got my order it was wrong and I had to repeat my order again four more times because the person working the window was struggling very hard with English. I was patient and tried to be accommodating but when you only have 30 minutes for lunch and you spend 15+ of those sitting in the Drive-Thru trying to get your order correct it defeats the purpose of picking up your lunch at a "fast food"...
