Yesterday's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Woodson Terrace

How to start this? Well, firstly I attended this on 04/19/24 about early five pm. I was really looking forward to coming here to see what improvements and what changed with the new owners. Ultimately I was let down BIG TIME. I was really looking forward to making a good review but I couldn't find anything to say good about it. Firstly, I placed my order for a fried buffalo chicken sandwich only pickles and a side of cheese fries. Which came out to $14.84 after tax if I didn't add cheese it would have been $14.34 and remind you this is without a drink. So it is on the expensive side.

What was I disappointed by?

Timing. It was slow in the building only two couples sitting at the table and 1 person at the bar drinking soda, I placed my order maybe around 4:30ish and it wasn't ready until what my receipt reads is 5:21. Which is almost an hour just for a sandwich and a side of fries!

Pricing The quality and size of the chicken wasn't that good to be worth over $10. It was thin and lacked of the buffalo sauce; the bun was quite hard itself. The flavor was not there but the chicken just didn't match the pricing it's listed at! Along side the fries were crispy which is a good thing but just to do a tiny bit of shredded cheese disappointed me heavily.

Random former employees. There was a guy that used to work there that was just all over the place going into the kitchen, he got a shot drank it went to the pool than told the lady that he didn't drink it so he could get a free shot, he was whispering things to an older guy at the bar, and I get it you knew the employees and all but it's a business at the end of the day.

But as I said I was looking forward to this but was let down by multiple things. I probably will not be back not recommend this place to anyone. And it's upsetting especially since I live...

We'd been here once before and really enjoyed it. This evening we were looking forward to a repeat of the good food and service, after 2 days of driving and being really hungry and tired. We were not greeted when we entered and seated ourselves. There were only about 5 other customers in the place so it wasn't that the staff was too busy. We waited about 10 minutes... nobody brought us menus or asked what we'd like to drink. From where I was sitting I could see into part of the kitchen and it appeared to me that the server was standing there smoking a cigarette. We left and won't be back again. Yesterday's, all my hunger seemed so far away. Now it looks as though it's here to stay. Oh, I don't believe in Yesterday's.

Suddenly, I'm not half the customer I used to be. There's an appetite hanging over me. Oh, Yesterday's failed terribly.

Why they didn't come? I don't know, they didn't say. I did nothing wrong. I no longer long for Yesterday's.

Had to get on here and just say the first time we went it was the second day it opened spent 170 on food and was completely disappointed....I'm like ok maybe because they just reopened...but today we went and spent 90 ... disappointed again..plus the waitress would walk away as we was talking to her more then 4 times and coughing on our food ...as she stood above us...as i was talking to my son in the pool table area wasn't talking loud at all just whispering the owner over heard me tell my son this sprite was the best tasting thing here.....she asked if i didn't like my food i told her no she asked what i have i named it all off and why it was nasty she says o im sorry.......lol ......yeah ok....not even would you like a free desert......also you have to wait forever for someone to wait on you.....but it was very slow.... ..... SMH won't be returning prices are insane for such basic food and poor service BY THE WAY THE GREEN BEANS MUST BE COOKED IN DISHWASHING WATER WTH....they belong...
