We got here around 1900 last night, saw that they couldn't take parties of 10+, which is understandable. Both my friend and I work in customer service, so we understand being short staffed. We walk in, it's about 10-15 minutes before we are seated. No big deal, the hostess seemed to be doing literally almost everything, from bussing to serving and taking orders. We're seated, she tells us our server will be over soon to take our drink orders, and leaves to go do what she was doing- seemingly holding the place together! My friend and I talked for a while, and when I glanced down at my phone, it had already been about 40 minutes. We still hadn't gotten our drink orders, hadn't even met the server, nothing like that. About that time, the hostess asked us if we had been helped (I felt so bad for her), and we told her we hadn't been, and she took our drink order, getting those out to us quickly. About 20 minutes later, our server finally came over and introduced himself, took our order, and left. We ordered an appetizer to share, which we waited about 30 minutes for, (it was just tortilla chips and salsa, given to us by a different server) and then about another hour until our food came out. At this point we had been at this restaurant for about two hours and had just now received our food. My friend ordered some broccoli with her meal, and our server said was coming still, and he left. We ate our lackluster food, it wasn't that great. My pizza was burnt, and her chicken was so brown it looked like beef on top of her noodles, and we still hadn't gotten the broccoli. To his credit, he did take it off the tab, but we didn't leave a tip. I have gone to one other place and not left a tip, because I get it. Customer service isn't fun to work at, but I felt that was a bit excessive. We should have left before our drink orders were taken. The decor looked cool, though, I guess I'll give it that. That was why we went there in the first place. I wouldn't recommend coming here. To that hostess that was the true MVP, I wish I had cash on me, I would have given it to you personally. You were like the sole person keeping the place...
Read moreOur waitress was nice and the place looked really neat but that's where the good things ended. We were a large party and ordered quite a few things. It did take a while for the food to come out. It was not all very warm, it wasn't cold just not fresh hot like you'd expect. A couple things were great but most of it was not. The burger patties were definitely frozen even though they said they were fresh off a grill.. the "grill marks" were way too clean, like on frozen patties, and the patties were the exact same thickness and width as each other and had the texture of frozen patties. The noodles for the pasta seemed like they were pre cooked like when you reheat left over noodles at home or they have sat for a long time in a pot of water and the marinara sauce was like a tomato paste. The $5 topping of meatballs seemed like the frozen kind too and weren't hot. We didn't even eat 2 of the meals but took them home for others to try if they liked because it was expensive. There was something crusted in the cup of my first drink and then weird enough the second drink that was brought had something like black fuzz in it in the same spot, everyone else's cups were clean. Only difference was I had a coke. Even though the food was mostly terrible we did leave the waitress a nice tip. However when we left (this isn't the restaraunts fault) another patron made a point of a grand and rude exit as we were readying to leave complaining to myself and the other mom with me that we ruined "it" by having kids there... it's a family friendly restaurant with a kids menu. The kids were at our table the whole time till we were waiting near the exit to leave when this occured. We are quite perplexed about what exactly his problem was with kids...
Read moreMy husband and I went to muddys tonight. It was the worst experience I’ve had dining out. There were no open tables when we arrived, we didn’t mind sitting at the bar so we sat there. There were only 5 other people sitting at the bar when we sat down. We waited 10 minutes for the bartender to take our drink order. Male dark hair early thirties. He never told us his name. It took a few minutes to get our drinks. then another 10 minutes from then for him to come back to us to take our food order. We ordered an appetizer and two burgers. It took over 30 minutes for him to bring us the app which was the “giant” pretzel. It was cold and had gotten hard. The cheese sauce that came with it was absolutely disgusting. From getting the pretzel we had to wait another 30 minutes to get our burgers. By this point we were over being there. We couldn’t stop the bartender to ask for more drinks nor did we ever get asked. Couldn’t comment about the cheese sauce because he was nowhere to be found at any time. We barley saw him in the over an hour we were there. When we could get him(before our burgers got to us) we asked for the burgers to be put in takeout boxes and the check. I’ve never had that horrendous of service. The bar was not busy to where I would have been more understanding of the lack of attention. I have been in the service industry before, a waitress at a popular restaurant so I have knowledge and sympathy for those that are in the industry. But this was so bad, so far from what should have taken place. I will say when we were finally able to eat the burgers they ...
